Wonderland Lounge N Grill — Attraction in Johnson City

This place is clean and they are well staffed...we went out for my friends birthday last night to have a good time but ended up leaving early because the music was just...YIKES....we were there 4 hours and in that time maybe 4 or 5 songs were played that we actually knew....I dont think it was just us not feeling the music either....there was hardly anyone dancing at times and any good d.j should be able to read a room if people aren't feeling what he's playing...we tried to give requests along with several others but i guess he wanted to play what he wanted too not what everyone else wanted to hear...if the same d.j is there all the time I can't say I'll be back here...disappointed that the music was so terrible for us because it has the potential to be a great place...I will say to the bartenders and the security team good job to you all....seriously...they do an excellent job keeping that place safe and clean with people constantly spilling their drinks and I never saw an empty cup or bottle sit more than a minute or 2 max before they cleaned it up...so if they had a different d.j I'd definitely give them another chance or recommend it...

This place is truly Wonderland!!! I wonder why I had not found it earlier. The owners and the entire staff is as amazing as the food and atmosphere. Did I mention how incredible the food was? I attended a wine pairing this evening that blew me away. I believe I may have consumed more food in one sitting than I do in two days. I could not stop myself. Every bite that I tried was unbelievable. The owners went overboard with everything they did. The inside of this place and the food is just absolutely stunning. I am not sure how it took me this long to find such an wonderful place in Johnson City. If either of the news channels have not done a review on it, they should. As far as I am concerned, this is one of Johnson City's best restaurants. I cannot say enough about this place and I already plan on attending their next wine pairing at the end of the month. I believe their wine pairings are the last Thursday of every month. Wow, and thank you again to everyone who took care of us there at this...

We hadn't planned on stopping when we came through JC, Tn. but on a whim we changed our mind and pulled into Wonderland Lounge N Grill! It was different than any place I've been in awhile, for sure! The cuisine is India and we're not too familiar with that! I was really expecting my husband and our guest to flee the scene...but they stayed and glad we did! The owner was our bartender and was pretty friendly with a good sense of humor, more personable than even I expected! He had a good selection of domestic, drafts, and liquor...and OMGosh the cheese bread was fabulous!! It had cream cheese and a common mild green, that I can't remember for the life of me :/, baked in a thin flaky crust!! Yum!! I'd go back just for that!! It is a very nice place though, very roomy and cozy! They have music and dancing! It's a recipe for...
