I went in to see about getting my rope chain necklace that has a single diamond pendant on it repaired because it broke mid-chain. I would have went to Zales (where the necklace was originally purchased) but I was told it would be at least 2 weeks before I would get it back. A friend recommended that I try Comeau Jewelry because they have an on site repair area and he got his fiancé's ring resized the same day. He just took it in and left it at the location and got it back that evening. Not only was the woman who helped me very kind and helpful, she also checked on other possible options (like purchasing a new chain) to see if the could save me some cash rather than getting it repaired. Even though I went ahead and got a new 18" chain ($25), she said that I could leave my necklace there and they would be able to repair it sooner for close to the same price. 2 years ago I took my engagement ring and wedding band into Comeau Jewelry to have them sized. They did fantastic. A couple months later, we went in and picked out a ring for my husband-to-be. We found just what he needed and they were so patient with us since he had to have a specific metal due to his job. About 6 months later after we got married, he lost his wedding ring (go figure lol). We went and got him another one. Unfortunately it broke while he was at work. Of course comeau took care of it and let us get a completely different ring that was a little more sturdy and then reimbursed us for the ring that broke!! They create beautiful custom jewelry and carry a wide variety of ready-made pieces. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I needed a pair of Mariana earrings to match my necklace and bracelet. They didn't have exactly what I wanted in stock, so they ordered a few pair for me to look at to make sure they were what I wanted. I selected a pair today from the ones she got in and I love them.
