KFC — Restaurant in Webb City

DO NOT order online and pick up from this store. Placed an order on the website to pick up from this location on Oct 17th at 7:06 PM. I pull into the drive through and there is an employee out there saying they "ran out of chicken" 3 hrs ago. So they will not complete my order obviously and are apparently not even allowed to substitute it for anything else or substitute it for the following day. The real kicker comes when they end up charging my card and refuse to give me a refund for a purchase they never even honored. Their only response essentially being its not their problem cause i ordered online so i have to contact customer service online to get a refund. I try that on 6 seperate occassions and of course its just a series of endless loops of being placed on hold before the machine kicks in to leave a message and hangs up. I call back to the store to report this only to once again be told its not their problem, call the website. I ask to speak with a manager and the person on the line initially avoids the request. Then after 3 minute song and dance routine she tells me she is a manager, does not provide her name, and tells me no one else has had any issues getting a refund and that i need to go try again. In the end i actually needed to call my bank to dispute this bogus charge. I know no one wants to work the fast food industry post COVID-19 era but this is ridiculous customer service. Ordered 2 buckets of chicken, drove 25 minutes to pick them up and bring them home. The website said 2 of each piece of chicken, in not only the redeem page but the checkout page too. Instead, we received all dark meat.

Since I am so far away, I called, and asked them to put 2 Breast pieces as a credit that I could pick up for my father next week when I was closer to town...2 pieces...2 and no refund needed.

Jaycee was more than accommodating, Katelyn was COMPLETELY unwilling to sacrifice $4 worth of chicken to appease her customer. So I was given the option to take the chicken back (25 mins), swap out the pieces, and drive back (25 mins), today only...

Needless to say, I will not be back. And with that level of service, I am confused as to why she is above Jaycee in the pecking order. Changes needed. Hope corporate...

So the 5 stars is for the service and new Spicy Chicken sandwich. This location is in another town, but I'll definitely be back. Sissy and Leah are awesome, and have great customer service. Also they drive thru line moves fairly quick. I think the KFC Spicy Chicken Sandwich is the best one around and will win the chicken sandwich war! If you haven't tried it yet, stop in!
