Revised review: I am not the type to go after places, most times, but the Rangeline Antique Mall has had a unique fall from grace for me and my whole family that I feel warrants public explanation. We loved the antique mall but can no longer bare to go into the store anymore due to their public shaming of my Mother on social media. The long and short of it is that while my Mother was in the Antique Mall with my kids one day she carelessly knocked something off a table. It was wrapped up in paper and bubble wrap, and she wrongfully put it back without checking it. It turns out she had broken Santa’s arm off. Her fault entirely, no question about that. She will be the first to tell you that it was her fault, and she should have opened it to check. The only reason we found out about it was because they made a Facebook post about it. For me, this is well within the realms of reasonability, and it’s only because of this post that she even found out about it and was able to go in and pay for it as soon as she found out... The part that was unacceptable in my eyes was the attack on her character in that Facebook post. In it they accused her of being an awful example to her grandchildren and several other unwarranted attacks on her character. I have seen them do this with people who purposefully steal from them in the past, and have always found their posts slightly humorous and tongue-in-cheek... but this was their reaction to the footage that showed what was clearly a careless accident. They posted her picture and vehicle on Facebook right beside their words calling her a horrible grandmother and questioning if she was fit to care for my children due to her lack of morality. As soon as friends started sending it to her she immediately went in to pay for it... but the reason we can’t shop here anymore is not because of anger, but because the attacks on her character ring in all of our ears every time we look at the place. I’m not looking for the Antique Mall to do anything (and I’m honestly not sure there’s anything they could do), except maybe take greater care with those Facebook posts. I can definitely understand how frustrating it must be to see someone break something and put it back and leave, but if you attack people for accidents with the same tone as people stealing from you then you will inevitably end up alienating your customers. In our case, you ended up alienating an entire family who have spent thousands at your store and who can now barely drive by the store without having your words about our mother being a unfit grandmother flash through our minds... We are glad that the Facebook post did make it across our radar so we could rectify our mistake, but it would have had the same effect without the intentional name-calling and shaming. I hope you’ll take greater care in the future before shaming your customers for accidents so that they can come in to fix their mistakes and remain your customers afterwards.
Original review: There's always a ton of great stuff in here! I'm not typically into antique stores and stuff like that, but I'll go into the antique mall any time. There's always great stuff to find for just...
Read moreLOVE THIS PLACE! It’s always been a great place to go to find unique items! Even at a fairly decent price! If you go, you’ll spend a lot of time milling around this huge place! 😊I wish they’d make it bigger! It’s always going to be hit or miss. That’s the nature of hunting for a specific item from a specific era. They have a tendency to attract really unique items. You have to go often otherwise someone will snap up the best unbelievable items! 😁I try to keep a little side budget for this place! If you frequent this place, you’ll end up stumbling across something that will blow you out of the water knowing you’ll likely never find it again! 😍I’ve made some amazing purchases here! I no longer have any of it because I had a fire. Guess I’ll have to find all new stuff 😂
This place has been around for many many years. It’s changed hands twice that I know of over those years. I go to antique markets in other cities occasionally, but there are few that can compare...
Read moreI love going to Rangeline Antique . however recently I purchased a small antique "sterilizer" cabinet used by a Doctor or Dentist. ..On the front it has glass and an old Decal ( which makes it special). It was not marked "as is" and was not damaged. I put it on layaway and when I came to get it the glass was cracked down the middle. When I I I asked what happened they said it was that way when I purchased it. Well I asked them to call the Dealer and they took the phone around the corner so I could not hear and came back and said that the Dealer confirmed it was that way when he bought it!. I wouldn't have bought it with the crack. So they said they wouldn't refund or discount the item! This is the Owner ! I cannot believe that they would treat me this way! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ! So Bware People... they are there to solely protect their dealers and the...
