If I could give 0 I would. Called to tell them we would be a little late and no one mentioned to us at all they had a 5 mins late policy to cancel on us. We get there and they refuse to cut my husbands hair. We try to explain how we just called up here and nobody told us that and her only response was âwell that wasnât meâ, and as we are walking out the door to leave to say forget it the manager mouths âmaybe you should manage your time betterâ this is extremely unprofessional because for one you have no idea what could of caused us to be late, my husband has health issues right now with his heart.Yes we had an attitude because nobody told us the policy, and we called in advance about being late and no one said anything to us but âokay you just wonât be able to get the hair wash and massage with it â and we responded with âthatâs fine.â If your employee would have told us about the policy when we called we wouldnât have even wasted our time coming in. There was no yelling or cussing by us until she decided to make that comment as we were already leaving the building and all that was said by us in response was âf youâ. A manager of a place like this should definitely have better customer service and professionalism. Also no where online does it say customers only have 5 mins to be late. And we did follow protocol on being late. By the looks of other reviews on here itâs not the first time youâve been rude right away to anyone who is late. Do better.
Itâs honestly sad to see a place only responds to a review on here when the person doesnât provide enough information for you. Do you ever respond to the people who voice their story and ever make it right or continue to ignore them? Because by the looks of other reviewers you ignore their comments and concerns as well, but respond to anyone who doesnât tell you their...
Read moreI was in town for part of the day and my daughter in law was in need of help with kids. I loaded up my grandson in my car and drove him to his 10:30 hair cut appointment. When I arrived, the shop was mostly empty but two employees were standing behind the counter. The young lady asked me what I needed. I told her my grandson had a 10:30 hair cut appointment. It was 10:37. She told me I was late. I apologized. I told her I got a little lost, because I was grandma visiting from out of town. She explained that if I was going to be MORE than five minutes late. ( I was 7) then I had to call them. I apologized again, explaining that I had no phone numbers just an address. She proceeded to chastise me for another four minutes and finaly said she might be able to cut my grandsonâs hair but she would not be able to wash it. I said okay. Then she continued to repeat the ârulesâ and that it was unacceptable to arrive late. I apologized a third time and asked if i need to find somewhere else to get his hair cut. She took a deep breathe and said yes. â You need to go someplace else.â I paused. And questioned again, saying this was silly. She repaeated that âyou need to leave and go elsewhereâ.
So we left. Obviously wonât ever be back. I believe my son gets his haircut there oftenâŚwell use to.
I can only guess that this receptionist- manager -or owner drove over her cat before coming to work today and was having a bad day.
So. My wisdom for you - if you choose to come to this barber shopâŚ.isâŚfor peteâs...
Read moreFrustrating experience to say the least. I set an appointment for 2 at 2:30pm. We show up at 2:15pm. We were asked if we both wanted our hair washed. I responded with, "isn't that included in the price?" The stylist responded, "yes, but if you both want it, I won't have time to do both, I can only do one haircut." I don't understand the point of making an appointment if we weren't valued customers with designated timeframe for a full service experience. This place has gone downhill since it first opened up a couple years ago. I was on board with all the hype from the beginning but it is hard to be supportive when the last several times I've had underwhelming experiences. My son's favorite part was when he got his neck and back massage. As a 10 year old he thought that was one of the neatest experiences he was able to enjoy. The last four times we have been there including this last one, he did not get his neck and back massage. He wasn't asked if he wanted one, he was simply ignored and not valued as a customer. Sometimes he feels like he's a burden and not a qualified valued customer. He is too shy to ask if the service is still included in the "experience" that the Barbershop seems to advertise. I don't blame him. I do hate to see his face full of disappointment when he was expecting something fun and the service lacked. It is a poor business practice to not follow through with services advertised. I have debated over the past year whether I want to come back and I think this last experience was the last for me...
