Brett Thuma Gallery — Attraction in Kalispell

I went in to Brett Thuma's gallery on a shopping trip when I was in Bigfork. I ended up staying for quite awhile because there were so many things to see. Brett and I had a conversation and he is so warm and friendly, I was there longer than I expected to be. We had such an interesting conversation. But I'm so glad I did meet him. My family of 15 was vacationing in the area and it's the first time all of us have been together for quite a while, due to the disruptions of the last few years. We had a photographer scheduled to take a group shot of our family and she cancelled out on us at the last minute. Not knowing who else to call, I phoned Brett. We arranged for him to come to the B & B where we were staying and he did a photo shoot of all of us and then our sons in their individual family units, and our grandchildren. Even though Brett is more of a landscape, outdoor photographer and painter, and doesn't do "people" shots that much, he did a wonderful job. We are very happy with his work and now we have a lasting pictorial memory of this wonderful trip to Bigfork, Montana. And I also bought several of his other prints. It's hard to choose as there are so many good ones. I can't recommend Brett more highly. If you are in Bigfork, please be sure to stop...

Such a great place!

We know Brett personally and he’s the most interesting person to have a conversation with! He knows so much about wildlife and photography. He’s always happy to share his knowledge as well as learn something new. He knows the area very well too, so that makes him a great local guide!
