We had lunch here on a whim today, and wow! We were pleasantly surprised. Such friendly folks who are new to the valley from Louisiana, so this is authentic Cajun food, and it’s SO GOOD. They offer a couple of different dishes every day, in addition to their seafood boils. Our family shared a boil #1 and a bowl of chicken and sausage gumbo.
The seafood was well cooked and well seasoned and came with a potato and a small cob of corn. It was served with Cajun butter, which is also seasoned and a bit spicy. We loved it. Read moreI was hoping for better. It was ok but not what I’d call good. Corn was drastically overcooked, mushy, and crazy salty. Let me say upfront I love salt and the entire meal was way too salty. Shrimp was overcooked and again very salty, I had the dungarees crab which was cooked perfectly but once again so salty you couldn’t taste the crab.
