This is by far my favorite farmers' market in the Kansas City area. Almost all the vendors here farm with organic practices (though official certification is often too expensive for these family farms), and their produce shows it. I've never before seen such a bounty of beautiful vegetables! As soon as I walk into the market my mouth starts watering, and I have to limit how much cash I bring — I can't help but spend everything in my wallet! This is not the least expensive farmers' market in the area, but you certainly get what you pay for. Besides, the vendors often throw in something extra if you make a big purchase. Besides produce, the market has vendors selling eggs, bread, cheese, coffee, and organic meat, as well as some hand-crafted items. But come for the produce — your eyes and taste buds...

It's very helpful that the market itself accepts cards and will sell tokens which can be used to purchase from vendors who don't accept cards.
