The park has a newly renovated playground, picnic areas with tables, and plenty of green space perfect for laying out a blanket or enjoying a meal with family and friends. There are also clean restrooms, and the long pier provides a stunning view of the lake—ideal for a peaceful stroll or watching the sunset.
For those looking to get out on the water, the park offers convenient kayak, paddleboard, and canoe rentals during the summer. The rates are quite affordable, with kayak and paddleboard rentals averaging around $20/hour, and canoes available for around $25/hour. The rental process is easy, and the lake is calm, making it perfect for both beginners and experienced paddlers.

Read moreNice place to visit and go for a walk or a bike ride. There are various options for outdoor activities. There are plenty of places to have picnics and to fish and do water activities like boating, floating, boarding. It's a nice place to watch the sunset. I see many people fishing off the boardwalk. I've even spotted a bald eagle here before which was very majestic. I highly recommend this to anybody who wants to have a relaxing or athletic day or a picnic with friends. There is a nice relatively new play place for children and various picnic tables. There's a long walking trail that I believe goes to Kirkland or Seattle depending on which direction you're walking or biking. Be sure to pay attention for bikers because sometimes they will ring their bell when they're right about to zoom past you. (For this reason I don't usually listen to music while walking.) It has a varied selection of wildlife to observe like ducks, cranes, fish, squirrels. I always recommend it to people who are new to the area and want a cool place to have...
