I shared a photo that shows where a few parking spaces are located that are reserved for the preserve. They are located near the SW corner of the Bothell Hwy / Ballenger Way intersection. They are next to the Lake Forest Park City Hall which is in the lower parking lot for the Lake Forest Park Town Center. After parking, walk to the intersection and cross Bothell Way. There is an access dock to Lake Washington, however there is a sign that states that swimming or launching any watercraft is prohibited (ironically, the neighbors' kids are swimming and paddling as I arrive, and there are several private docks with boats within 100 meters). Still, a gem of a public park amidst private homes and omnipresent no trespassing signs. Good job Lake Forest...
Read moreWonderful little park beside the Lake Forest Park Civic club on Sheridan Beach road. Easy access from the Burke-Gilman trail, no toilet on-site, and no parking space except for a single disabled parking slot.
Wildlife is abundant with eagles, an occasional osprey, kill deers, kingfisher, herons, muskrats, canadian geese, mallard ducks, rabbits and bats at dusk.
