The owner confiscated my boyfriend's EBT card,telling me he thought I stole it because I "didn't know the right pin #" although I WAS in fact entering the correct pin #!! He told me that my boyfriend could come pick it up the next day but when my byfrnd went to retrieve it the owner was conveniently not there & his wife said she had no idea what card he was talking about & to come back later. Then when he did the owner claimed he'd turned the card over to the local police,so my man had to call the card in as lost or stolen, cancel it,& order a new one. Two days later my byfrnd returned to the store to buy a beverage & the owner, out of nowhere(card wasn't inquired about) return it to my byfrnd AND insisted he pay $5.68 for ice cream that had supposedly melted when he denied my attempt to buy it(BY LYING ABOUT ME ENTERING INCORRECT PIN!) even though I had offered to put it back in the freezer & he VERY RUDELY told me not to touch it,sais he'd put it back, told me nvr to return to his store, &called me a "fking lying thief bch piece of garbage!" Prior to this I shopped there approx. 4 days a wk for about 4-6mo with no issues besides the owners odd habit of telling me his son was born the same yr as me(EVERY TIME he saw my I.D.)&wld tell me his son "was here yesterday" or "will be here tomorrow" or whenever which both confused me & made me feel uncomfortable. THIS INCIDENT LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THE OWNER IS MENTALLY UNSTABLE & SHOULD BE REGARD WITH CAUTION, I DNT WANT ANYONE ELSE TO HAVE TO GO THROUGH WHAT I DID SO FELT OBLIGATED TO MAKE A PUBLIC STATEMENT, THANK YOU FOR PROVIDING THIS FORUM FOR...
