I’ve been coming to Nail Usa for a few months now and I met Tanya who gave me the best pedicure ever! Saturday was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a nail salon and this wasn’t because of the service. Brandy and Marquita was very rude and unprofessional in the salon! Discriminating fellow co worker, disrespectful, called her derogatory names, no management was present , asking me if I’m the nail tech’s body guard or mouth piece, I felt really embarrassed caused I invited a friend along with me. They were both very toxic , teasing the coworker about her wig, when in fact her locks needed to be washed and groomed telling her she had alopecia, and receding hairline. My pedicure was immaculate but these 2 nail tech (Marquita and Brandy) none better than the other were very ghetto and toxic, one of them seem to be very unstable with her behavior, behaves like someone who uses and abuses drugs. I wish I could have given the business a 0 review but I can’t, this is very unprofessional for clients who pay their hard earned money to come into. Very ghetto, one instigated while the other enhanced and boost her up both of them need to be disbarred and reported to state board. I have a video and I wish I could upload it on the business page for you all to see it. It is my first time seeing them, looks like they were recently employed. I would advise anyone coming here to not have them do their nails. I am thinking about reporting their behavior to state board as it relates to how she spoke to me and made me feel so unsafe , and disrespected, I had to apologize to my friend who I took with me that this isn’t what this nail shop represents. There were other clients there too and others express they felt the same way after the disruptive behavior by them both. This behavior needs to be...
Read moreI'm not sure why my experience was so different than the majority of the reviews - but here we are. I came to this shop 9 days ago as I was in the neighborhood and saw the favorable reviews. As I was heading to Greece for two weeks asked for a Gel Pedicure and SNS Manicure, my standard service. While doing my nails, the woman asked me if I wanted a manicure - I said yes (as the service is called a SNS Manicure...I thought nothing of it). Everything went by smoothly and the service was pleasant. When I recieved my check, I was surprised that the charge was around $120, pre-tip - even more than I pay in Washington, DC for the same services. I was told that SNS is only a paint job, that a "Manicure" is an add-on service, meaning I paid around 45-50$ for SNS, 17$ for a manicure, and 45$ for a pedicure. I went along and paid the charges, and went on my merry way, knowing I wouldn't be back.
That said, around day 2, my paint job started to fall apart. The first thing that I noticed, especially on my right hand, is that the sns dip started to crack. The index finger was the first, and then I noticed over the coming days light chipping at some of the tips. Here is a photo of my nails from day 7 and again today on day 9. I'm not sure what went wrong here, or why - but I don't expect a $120 nail salon trip to look like this in the middle of an otherwise stress-free European holiday. The only thing I'm using my hands for is to lift my cocktail glass and turn the page, but here we are. Again, everyone at the salon was very nice....but my...
Read moreThis was not my first time at the salon, and previously I have loved the service I received. Yesterday was a little different. I entered the salon and was immediately greeted and seated and told the nail tech what I wanted. He told me that he did not have a tech available to do French SNS dip, but they could do an SNS base and paint on the French tip, so I said that was fine. The male tech swapped with a female tech and she started on my nails, everything was fine until she started shaping and removing extra SNS which then she hit every cuticle/outline of each of my nail beds. Then today, 1 day later I notice air bubbles in almost 7/10 of French tips (which is why I usually prefer dipped). I am a little disappointed with this visit. Here’s a picture of my cuticles on...
