As a Level 7 Google Local Guide, I recently visited the IHOP located on Cobb Parkway in Kennesaw, GA, and had an overall positive experience.

Service: The service at this IHOP was exemplary. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the hostess and promptly seated. The server was attentive and friendly, checking in frequently to ensure that everything was to my satisfaction. My order was taken quickly and accurately, which is always appreciated, especially during busy times.

Order Accuracy: Accuracy is key when it comes to dining out, and this IHOP did not disappoint. I ordered steak and eggs, requested a side of bacon, and asked for salsa for my eggs. The staff accommodated my request for salsa without any issue, which was a nice touch. My daughter ordered the steak only and gluten-free blueberry pancakes. Everything was delivered exactly as requested, with all items correctly included and prepared as specified. This level of precision is vital for a pleasant dining experience, and the staff at this IHOP demonstrated great attention to detail.

Food Quality: The food quality was excellent. The steak and eggs were cooked to perfection, with the steak being tender and flavorful, and the eggs exactly as I wanted them. The side of bacon was crispy and delicious. My daughter’s gluten-free blueberry pancakes were outstanding – fluffy, light, and bursting with blueberry flavor. It’s not always easy to find good gluten-free options, but IHOP nailed it with these pancakes.

Speed: Despite being a moderately busy morning, the service was impressively quick. From the time we placed our order to when the food arrived, the wait was minimal. This prompt service is crucial, especially for a breakfast place where customers often visit in a rush.

Ambiance: The ambiance at this IHOP was pleasant and welcoming. The dining area was clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable and family-friendly atmosphere. The decor was typical of IHOP, which is cozy and inviting, making it a great place for a relaxed meal.

My Husband and I went dining for breakfast yesterday March, 12, 2022. The food was good and our server was very nice and eager to please. Two tables behind my husband and I, was an individual with children that was not happy with his service. His server was the same server we had. The gentleman made loud dissatisfying comments on the dining floor. There was an older woman/employee / Manager who appeared to be helping with keeping operations up front running smoothly. She proceeded over to the gentleman’s table. With that, the woman had the server come over and while being berated by the rude customer, the woman was loud and started reprimanding the server in public. This is our Dining Room and these people are our family. she went on to say a few more words, and then had the server replaced by another server for that table. She sent the server to finish with her other tables in tears. Apparently the server forgot something, she said she believed she was moving too fast and she took the blame. There were people sitting at the table behind us. They too had the same server. The lady that was sitting at that table did make a comment to the older women as to how pleasant the server was. The older woman / manager made a comment in response to the affect that she was please to have her. Well, humiliating one of your employees in public proves otherwise. Your style for management is truly unprofessional and you yourself need additional training. The world is crazy enough. Our server may have been about 20. That incident should have been addressed privately and utilized as a training tool. 1/2 hr planned group sessions with all, to help with further assistance to avoid this situation. You could have just explained to the customer that you would address the matter later and properly addressed it (as a training tool). Instead this hard working young lady who appears to be still getting her feet wet within the work world, tried to complete the remaining tables as she struggled to hold back tears of...

I’m sharing this to say I had one of the worst experiences at this location in all the times that I’ve been here . I don’t recall the servers name because she didn’t even properly introduce herself to us . Me and my family came to eat brunch . To be begin off I want to say that our race and hers was a big part of her problem towards us . We are Mexican and she was an American white girl . My Father who speaks perfect English was asking her a question about the menu and she responded with “you have to read the menu “ I over heard her saying that to him which made me feel some way about that . He can read and speak English so there was so problem with communication to begin with . Then when our food came out my mothers order was made wrong and my mother asked to order the build your omelette and the server put in the wrong one and she left mad back to the kitchen to remake the order and then she had brought out pancakes instead of hash browns like my mother ordered. She said as she walked away from our table “ Is there anything else I can get you ?” I responded no thank you and she said back “Now I can go back to serving my OTHER TABLES.” With a very snarky tone . That made our family brunch horrible. Like as if we were being a burden. Then when it came to cashing out . My Husband was going to pay she took the card and brought back the receipt. And directly pointed out this is where you put the tip amount and the total then you sign here as if it were to be our first time doing this . I felt very Discriminated . Just because we are Mexican doesn’t mean we can’t read or write. She didn’t even say thank you for coming or have a good day . Two other servers saw us leaving and said have a good day thanks for coming in when they weren’t even our servers. So I hope no one else goes...
