China Wok — Restaurant in Kennesaw

The 'terrible' reviews are 1000% ACCURATE 🙄 That Little girl (owners daughter) at the front counter was two deep breaths away from getting smacked. I had to remind myself how far I've come - and decided to just alert & warn others to STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE FOR SANITY SAKE!!!

As I waited for my nail appointment, I went inside this establishment for a drink. I ordered a soda, and was told the amount was $1.06. For about 45 seconds, I struggled in front of the cashier [young girl] to get my cashapp card out of my wallet as she just stared at me AND my open wallet. As I handed it to her, she dryly states "$4 minimum" 🤨 ...So I start lightly laughing, and replied, "..After you just watched me wrestle with this card. Uhhh, let me see if I have change in the car. " I noticed her blank expression, but I didn't think much of it since I was talking aloud more so. As I am halfway out the door, her RUDE A$$ YELLS "BYEEEEE! HAVE A NICE DAY!! DON'T COME BACK. " 🤯🤯🤯🤯 HOLD TF UP!!! WHOOOO TF ...WHAT TF!!! NOPE! NOT TODAY SATAN!!! .....I turned back around & YELLED BACK!!! "I AM COMING BACK!!!"...She said something else slick, but I was too busy walking back to my car.

[Only because I was extremely thirsty and did NOT feel like moving my car/losing parking spot] I went back in a few moments later with $1.25 in quarters.

As I approached, the older Asian woman was standing near the door. I walked in & and asked, "Is that your daughter?" She vaguely replied "Yes" with a head nod. I then decided to suggest to HER "Get your child in order. There is already enough discrimination going on in the world. I know for a FACT she would NOT talk to a WHITE WOMAN IN HER FACE Like that" 😒🤧 The little child put her headphones in and rolled her eyes at me 🤣🤣🤣 #ThankGodForGrowth

After reading these reviews tonight, and hearing of other similar encounters (after the fact for me) from other employees in that plaza & their customers of how they were treated ... Somebody in that little girl family better get her in check ASAP!!! SHE WILL BE HUMBLED REAL QUICK. Everybody isn't from Kennesaw or has the patience to school little ignorant children.

[Some] First-generation English speaking children have a little bit too much dip on they chip. Too much responsibility to translate for their parents & forget the basic decency of RESPECT!! Don't reside in the Kennesaw/Acworth area for too long & forget that your lineage is NOT from here 🤭 Don't try to hard to fit in. #BeHumble

Apparently, other patrons have heard the little brat down talking to her mother on more than one occasion. I hope whatever elder in her family who see these reviews have a real COMING TO JESUS meeting with her. She was two seconds away from being snatched over...

I have ordered food China Wok for lunch for almost a year now, sometimes several times a week. Recently while looking for a receipt for my expense report, I just happened notice that the last two times that I ordered food and picked it up, they charged me as though I have food delivered by Door Dash. I’ve never had them deliver food for me because it takes less than two minutes to get there from my job. I called Uber about the situation and Uber was able to tell me that one of them was a pick-up order, but still said that one of them was a delivery. I was persistent because I know that I have never had them deliver food for me. I took the receipts to the restaurant and was told there was nothing that they can do for me. All I wanted was $7.14 which was the total of all the delivery fees as well as a $2.00 tip for the delivery driver that didn’t exist! Twice I was told there was nothing that they could do for me. It was someone from the restaurant that obviously, told Uber that the two orders were delivered as opposed to being picked up I politely thanked them and told them I would never be spending another dollar in their restaurant. They just stole money from me and didn’t even care to make it right. They just lost all the business I gave them in the past and all potential future business because of $7.14. Had they made this situation right I would have continued to patronize their business. I would’ve at least felt respected,...

Ordered for delivery today and the woman on the phone was totally rude, I order from China wok often, but I usually go in the store to pick it up. It seemed like I was the one giving her the instructions about how to take the order, because she didn't even ask for my phone number, I had to ask her if she needed it. And then she was being rude throughout the whole process. The food took too long, so I had to call the store and ask if the food was on the way, I had some errands to run later in the day and so I was just trying to see where my food was. I called the store and I asked her with the most educated tone that I had, and she said the food was on the way, and literally hanged up on me after. I called them back and asked why she hanged up on me and I also explained her the food was taking too long and I had errands to run. Once again she hanged up on me. The food was okay, I already know that their food usually taste cheap. But their service is horrible. They seriously need some better...
