We booked a private birthday party for Sunday morning because our two children have birthdays really close together. We have never done a party at a facility before, we always did everything at home, but this year due to a trip I felt like I wanted to take the stress off and let someone else handle the work! Boy did I pick the right place for the job! It was the most amazing birthday party! They went over and beyond to make each of my children feel super special and like the whole party was just about them even though it was a joint party! Adults and kids had an amazing time. We were able to accommodate kids that ranged from 2-10 giving each child something fun and exciting to do! Diane, who coordinates large parties and events was amazing! She made everything happen and pretty much said the sky is the limit on what we wanted for our party. Megan, was our party host and she wouldn't let me lift a finger to do anything! She knew what I wanted and needed I think before I even did! Everything ran smooth and our guests were raving about how smooth and fun it was. The customer service was nothing short of impeccable. I absolutely can't not rave enough about this place! We ordered sampler platters and pizza from sparkles and the food was fresh, delicious, and plenty! They had everything set out buffet style for the guest but were sure to talk to each guest to make sure they didn't need more of anything. Drinks or food! They served all the cake for us so we were able to really enjoy the party with our children. Thank you so much Sparkles Kennesaw for making my children's birthday so amazing and making them a class favorite on party experiences. I will say that the party is not cheap but worth every single penny if you want to have a party that is easy, fun and can accommodate all your needs! Thank you Diane, Megan, and all the other sparkles employees that made Sunday such a great day...
Read moreVery poor customer service. The toilets/restrooms very dirty and stings, smells urine as if has not been cleaned for the past week, the foors are dirty in play area, my grandsons socks turned black after he played for one hour. Please avoid this place if you don't want to get sick. Went there today with grand kids. Decided to buy lunch for the kids. The girl at the food cashier did not know what she was doing. Our bill was $30.26, we gave her $100.26 for her to give us change of $70.00 She decided to give us back $69.74. When I asked her why she is giving us more coins instead of Dollar bills she got mad at us. The reason we gave her cash is because the credit card reader machine was behind the computer creen where we put our order and she keep telling us to scan our credit card and we were looking where to scan and unable to find the scaner. Finally she brought the scaner in front of the monitor and we asked her why was the scaner behind the monitor, what a mess. She then counted our change and threw it at us on the table. I then asked for the manager. The manager by name Tehya Walker came and asked us what the issue was. I was expecting the manager to resolve the issue and treat us as customers. Rather she went and talked to the girl that took our order, then came back to us and asked if we called the girl dumb, we said no and that nobody called her dumb. The manager said she is not going to serve the food to us and that she will refund our money for us to leave the skate ring. My wife told her that we need to feed our grand kids because they are hungry, the manager insisted that we leave her skating ring. We are very disappointed and expected that the manager should calm the situation and treat her customers with respect and dignity. We will try to find the owner of this skating ring so as to file a complaint because this manager by name of Tehya Walker does not deserve to...
Read moreHad a blast tonight with my family! The music & atmosphere were great. Love the huge playground & the food at the cafe is good too. If you or the family are looking for a place that has several amenities & is fun for everyone, Sparkles is a wonderful option. One thing I’d suggest as a person that’s been skating for years, and especially if you have children skating, is rink etiquette. Even people that’ve been skating for 10,15,20+ yrs can review this! For those unfamiliar, outer lanes on a rink floor are the fastest speed/highest skill level area & where most incident might happen because of so many reasons (entering or exiting the floor, slow skating, skating with trainers, standing, feet or skates dangling, etc.). Next lanes in are for intermediate/beginner skaters & the center is for stationary work, children/parents assisting them, skate trainers, & those learning to skate. I have kids that skate so I made it a priority to teach them this to ensure they are as safe as possible while skating because they could be a hazard for someone else! To the adult women in particular, let’s not slow walk or catch up with girlfriends in the outside lane LOL! As a shuffle skater I want to skate uptempo & y’all have way more space than us to do you 🤪! It’s important to teach the next generation of skaters the same! It’s such a much better experience when people follow rink etiquette because everyone is able to enjoy themselves with minimal to no incidents. Staff & management handle everything well so the fun continues, thank you Sparkles for that! Also, if you have kiddos 10 & younger they can get free passes if you register them with their kids skate free program. Holiday hours have allowed us to skate several times for free which we’ve loved (and who doesn’t want to save money especially after a Christmas?!) Hope someone finds...
