I am from the Midwest - I LOVE Culver's! What I do not love is this particular franchise.
6-ish years ago, when the Culver's on Due West opened, I was thrilled to tell my sons who are massive fans. We were there opening days and the restaurant was slow and had some bumps, but it was their first weekend so we didn't think too much of it.
Over half a decade and one pandemic later, my family and I have come to believe the utter incompetence of the management and employees of this establishment is a social experiment.
To begin, Culver's is a FAST FOOD restaurant, but our meals are never prepared when we get to the window. We're a family of six, I've come to get everyone's meal or just a couple. On average, each meal adds 5 minutes to the wait time. I have seriously waited 30 minutes plus for fast food. The least they could do is refill my drink while I am waiting (this is only half a joke).
This isn't even the worst part.
Now, we are all aware prices have risen over the past few years, but for fast food, it still feels crazy that four chicken strips, cheese curds, and a soda run you $14 (x6 for my family).
When you are paying that price, you want it done right. The Due West Culver's always amazes me in their ability to do it WRONG. I would say two out of three visits result in them brining the incorrect item or forgetting something all together.
I marvel at my own stupidity to not ALWAYS CHECK THE BAG. My last visit, a $5+ order of cheese curds were left out, today spicy chicken tenders were given to us in lieu of regular ones. Of course they'd correct these errors if they were brought to attention, but that would mean driving fifteen minutes back or waiting another five minutes.
The food industry is not fun to work in - I've been there. It's hard work and people suck. I'm sure some reading this think I am one of those sucky people. All of this is the culmination of SIX years of consistently abysmal quality service.
I understand bad days and accidents happen, I'd never complain like this for one mistake, but as someone who has remained a loyal customer despite all this, I hope the managers step up their training or hire more competent people.
Sincerely, a dedicated...

This is the American dream them Hispanics talk about.
Let me tell you something—Culver’s is absolutely goated. It is everything I’ve ever wanted in a burger fast-food chain, and honestly, I’ve taken my sweet time writing this review because my experience there was that special.
If these guys franchised just a little harder, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King, Popeyes, Chick-fil-A—all of them—would be cooked. Culver’s is that guy. The service? Fast. The food? Delectable. Delicious. Spectacular. Succulent. I’m not exaggerating when I say I’d cause a scene just to get another one of their burgers. I drove almost an hour to get there and holy cow, was it damn worth it.
Prices are fair, but the quality? Unmatched. You can tell the patties are freshly smashed—none of that frozen crap. The fries? Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside— not even Five Guys pulls that off this perfectly.
Everyone who works there is incredibly kind and welcoming. The men’s bathroom was clean, which makes me think the women’s is probably spotless. The aesthetic of the place? Totally unique. Feels like like a special spot for anyone, not just another fast-food joint.
Now, let’s talk about that burger. I had the Culver’s Deluxe, and I’m telling you—it’s peak. Absolute Cinema if you will. Every bite was like falling in love over and over again. And don’t even get me started on the soda selection. Simple but thoughtfully chosen. The ketchup stands next to the napkins and that's so neat and convenient.
Seriously, those fries are stuck in my mind. The texture is something hard to get right, but they do it effortlessly. I don’t know what the heck that cook is doing in the kitchen, but whatever it is, it’s working. And that deserves the highest praise. I tip my hat to you, from one cook to another. To have mastered a skill like that means you dedicated yourself to countless hours of dedication and there are no words of praise that I could give you that would be enough to tell you,...
Read moreWe went here 3/24/24. I hyped it up and told my brother who is from out of state that this place had great burgers/food. From the drive thru employee taking our order to driving down the road eating our food, worst Culver's I've been to. First, employee who took our order was obviously unhappy to be working there or just mad at the world. Second, delivered our food and we were missing one fry. My brother went in and brought the order receipt with him to let them know we were missing a fry and the same employee (female) ARGUED with him saying we only ordered one fry when it was CLEARLY printed that we had two fries. Does she not know how to read? Finally, another employee (just as rude) said 'just give him the damn fry'. Really? We paid for it, on the receipt and you're going to argue with the customer? Like I wanted to get out of my car, go in and tell them we were missing a fry. Third, we were driving down the road and gotten down quite a ways when my brother handed me my burger since I was driving and the burger patty WAS MISSING! Are you kidding me? We just laughed at that point. It was basically a BLT with onion. My brother gave me one of his since he had a double. Lastly, the food was cold and terrible. The cheese was not melted and cold, just slapped on there. The burger was not fresh and cold as well. It was awful. The worst experience I've had in a very long time. Rude employees, cold food, and missing food. These people get paid how much? Ridiculous. Will not be returning to this location. I've had Culver's many times in the past and it's always been good. The fries were fresh at least. In scrolling through the reviews, I notice the response from owner is the generic and canned response. It seems as if this location has issues all over the place from rude owner to rude employees to always incorrect orders and long wait times. Do NOT bother going to this location. Owner obviously does not care about what customers think. I did...
