They took over 4 months to work on our home printer. I dropped it off on March 21, and it was ready on July 24. When I dropped it off, I was told that they would look at it and see what the issue was and then let me know if they needed to order any additional parts, etc. On April 4, they had not contacted me, so I called to get an update. I was told that they had a back log of several weeks and had not looked at it yet. On May 14, I still had not heard anything, so I called again and was told the same thing about a back log (however, at this point it had been almost two months since I dropped it off, and the business had never contacted me at all with any updates) and that they would call me back with an update. They never called me back, so on May 20 I called them again. On May 21, they called to let me know that an additional part was needed and to get my approval to order it. I approved and called again on May 24 and was told that the company that needed to ship the part had a back log. On July 22 (almost two months later), I still had not received an update, so I called again. I was told that the printer company had been having issues with their software for several models of printer, including mine, and that it was not working. I explained how long the printer had been in the shop (note that I was never given an estimate for when it would be ready) with four phone calls from me and them never initiating giving me an update and asked for an update on when I could expect to get an estimated time of completion. I was told that they would call the printer company and at least try to get an estimated time for when the software might be working again. I was also told that I would receive a call back within the week with an update. They called the next day and told me that the printer was ready. When I looked at the receipt, it had taken only 1.25 hours of labor. To summarize- I understand that back logs happen. However, it is very poor business and customer service never to provide estimated timelines or progress updates. They did not offer any discount or even an apology for the unreasonable length of time that it was in the shop. In the future, I would save my money and time, recycle my old printer, and just purchase a new one instead of taking it here for repairs. This is the first negative review I've written (I enjoy leaving positive reviews, not negative ones), but unfortunately I had such a poor experience with this business that I think it merits a review to caution others. The only positive aspect of the experience was that the employee I spoke with (Deanna) was courteous and tried...

I drove all the way from Tennessee (4.5 hours each direction) to bring my Epson printer in for repairs. Over the phone I had a conversation with Woody who told me that these things were ābuilt like a tankā and he could fix it as opposed to me replacing it.
I dropped it off in October of 2023. I received a phone call in DECEMBER telling me what they needed to replace and how much more money it would take to repair it.
During that conversation, I explicitly said that I didnāt want to throw good money after bad and that I didnāt want to spend that just to hope that it would be fixed. I was told that they āfelt confidentā that it would fix the problems I was having.
I paid them and waited to hear back. I waited and waited. I finally called asked about the status of the repair and was told that they were having delays due to everyone getting Covid.
I called again and was told they would try to finish it before Christmas so we could have family bring it up from Georgia and save us the trip and gas money. I was told I would get a call the next day either way letting me know for sure.
I never got a call.
I finally got a call after Christmas saying my printer was fixed and I could pick it up.
Went to pick it up and itās NOT fixed. (One problem is fixed, but not all of it.) I was shown a print out with HORRIBLE banding, which is entirely useless to me as a photographer.
The front desk lady was rude and dismissive and when I told her that it was unacceptable to have it still banding, she said that it needs a new print head that they donāt make anymore and there was nothing she could do.
If I had BEEN TOLD that it even MIGHT need a part that CANāT be bought anywhere, I would have never put this money into ANY of these repairs!
WORST SERVICE EVER. Over $700 spent ($200 in gas there and back twice) and 18 hours of driving time total for something USELESS!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn early December of 2023 I dropped off two epson printers for repair at Dawn Electronics with hopes of restoring the print heads and any other related print issues that they recommend I have repaired. Needless to say my experience with getting basic services was absolutely horrible. Over the course of three months I was given every excuse from we are on vacation to we had to order new print heads to can we not put your computer back together because itās not going to work but we would like to keep it. I recommend epson to remove this place from their list of repair shops. They are clearly only use to doing business with a certain type of people that Iām not a part of. It was extremely disappointing to receive the type of service that I did. The lack of people inside the business and the communication within the operation should have been an immediate red flagā¦..if your printers serviced I would stay far away from this place if your looking for common decency customer service. I would have given them no stars if it was possible. They were very nasty to me. šš¾ Itās now almost March and Iām just now able to pick up my printers that are not repaired with a $400 bill. What a dump. Canāt believe this place. Never againā¦.RUN FAR AWAY...
