Kensington Shopping Center — Attraction in Kensington

This shopping center is incredibly frustrating to visit due to the major lack of parking. I can never seem to find an open spot when I stop by, no matter what time of day it is. I've circled the small parking lot countless times, waiting for shoppers to leave so I can snag their spot. But as soon as one person leaves, three more cars swoop in competing for the same space.

The management has clearly overestimated the capacity of the lot compared to the high foot traffic drawn into this bustling center. There just aren't enough spaces to accommodate the streams of customers going to Ace Hardware, Chipotle, 7-11, Five Guys and the other shops all jammed into this compact area.

Even if you do get lucky and find a spot, it's sure to be at the far back corner of the lot, requiring a lengthy walk just to reach the front doors of the stores. And if you have young kids or are disabled, that trek across the vast parking lot is even more of a challenge.

As it stands now, the frustrating lack of parking prevents me from stopping into these stores as often as I'd like. I don't mind walking a bit from my car to the shops, but this center takes that to...

This strip mall is a traffic nightmare. 5 guys cstomer service very rude. Even the spik shift manager. She doesn't seem to care how her burger flippers and people at the register treat you so I will no longer be going 2, 5guys. The hibachi restaurant is horrible. The coffee shop is extremely pretentious. I'm from oregon so if you're from oregon you understand what I mean by that. Too many white people in kensington that's all I can say and we're all german. I used the parking lot to go to the gas station I rarely shop within this shopping mall. However I do go to chipotle's often to get their cold food. Everybody knows chipotle's food is always cold whether you eat it there or take it home. The independent hardware store there treats you like you're a criminal they watch you the whole time you're there. I'm sixty I don't have time for people to watch over me. The young people that work there have no idea what the product is. Is very unorganized store. Continental pizza has good steak sandwiches and delicious pizza and most times everybody is...

convenient but do we need 2 "711" stores on the same block. I prefer the other one, employees at this location are no where as nice or capable of doing their job compared to the one accoss the street. Chipotle is hit or miss depending on the day but compared to other Chipotle locations in the area the food consistency and quality is superior more times than not. the pizza shop is delicious and friendly as you'd hope and the Urgent Care clinic :/ .....id rather go to Holy Cross ER and hope to be put in express care upstairs. Some of the front desk receptionist over the years had a dismissive and snooty attitude more times than not. No issues with the Drs. or physical care I recieved over the years but reception is the first impression and based off that alone... Ill pass.
