Best vendors around. Such a great farmers market where you can go for a quick (or leisurely) stop and pick up everything you need. Haymaker really cares about providing the community with one of the best farmers markets in the area. I walk there every Saturday during the outdoor market and load up for the week. Love to see the produce and offerings change as the growing season progresses. Early Spring is just as wonderful to shop as late Summer. Don't hesitate to sign up for a local CSA, so much fun. I know that the goal here is local and seasonal, which limits what's available, but what's offered here is sort of weak. There are many more items that could meet the criteria of being locally produced that are not being offered. Hydroponics is one suggestion.That being said, the unique offerings are very exciting. And the fact that there is no trashy plastic junk or non-seasonal food items from Florida makes this a wonderful market. But it needs to open up to other vendors. There is room for it to grow. Read moreIt opens every Saturday morning from 9-1 in summer, and then it moves indoors in fall. The price is high, but there are so many vouchers and coupons available. There are many options of fresh local food. It is hard to find a good parking spot beside the farmers' market, though. You probably have to park on the other side of the street. But watch out when you cross the street if you have little ones. It can get chaotic with cars pulling in and out and driving in different directions.
