I was doing my laundry at the laundry mat next-door and seen that there was a Chinese restaurant so I went in there to get some food and I placed an order of white rice Fried rice and two spring rolls. I ate my rice first and as I got halfway through I found three bugs in three different pieces of rice. I went inside and I showed the man inside the bugs in the food and he confirmed that there was bugs. I asked them for a refund and as soon as I did that they started getting all snotty with me. Telling me that they were only going to give me a partial refund because I ate half my rice and one of the spring rolls, Then I told the lady that I want a full refund because I’m not going to eat the rest of the food and I already ate food that was contaminated with bugs in it. After I told her that I wanted a free refund she started screaming at me in Chinese and I do not understand Chinese so they really could’ve been saying anything. As soon as she gets started to get disrespectful with me her husband joined her and started yelling to and her son that works there was threatening to come on the other side of the counter and fight me because we wouldn’t leave without a refund. I wouldn’t even feed this food to a homeless person I definitely would not recommend it to anyone Thinking about going there. This was the most disrespectful experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Please stay far far away from this place unless you want...
Read moreRated the wrong restaurant? They are friendly, they do take credit cards, and the husband/wife owners speak English. Their son and daughter sometimes work there, too, and they speak flawless English. We've been eating here weekly for more than 20 years. The wife recognizes our voices over the phone and when we place an order she mentions if a particular favorite of ours is available that night.
We got the barbequed spare ribs, chicken chow mein, and chicken broccoli combination last night and they were delicious. We paid with a credit card. Every time we visit, the place is packed with hungry Asian people, even though there is a Thai restaurant and a Chinese buffet next door. They must be doing something right.
The wife is not chatty on the phone, but I appreciate being able to place my order so quickly. I want food, not conversation. When I arrive she is usually helping prepare the food, taking phone orders, and accepting payment...all at once! Ming Cheng's efficient operation is what keeps the prices...
Read moreSo I made an order tonight a simple delivery for two people. The person on the phone was easy to understand and my order should have been easy enough. I got a pint of beef and broc, a 2lt of Pepsi, and a garlic chicken combo plate. The guy on the phone tells me 1 price and the delivery guy tells me another so I get over charged 6$ and he forgot to give me my Pepsi. I call promptly to get my 2lt and a woman is now on the phones and I have no idea what she is saying except for 2lt pessi no charge. I complain I was overcharged and she just keeps on 2lt pessi no charge. Twenty minutes later the delivery guy shows up with a 20oz pepsi and says sorry bout this and offers me my tip back. I feel bad for the guy so ofc I let him keep it b/c it wasn't his fault. All in all the absolute worst experience ordering food in my life I am out 6$ and when I called to complain the same woman who screamed "2lt pessi no charge!" took my complaint and apologized... Horrible service will never order...
