My wife's laptop's hard drive died and when I pulled it out to try and connect it via USB to another computer to retrieve the paper that she was currently working on I found that the SDD mini hard drive had a unique connector that I had never seen before. I looked up computer repair companies in Grand Rapids Michigan and I found a few but Computer Rescue 911 was rated the highest so that next morning I called them and they thought that the had what I needed. Turns out that even they had not seen that type of connector before but undeterred Dylan Lindhout had me take a seat while he went into his office and spent about 15 minutes researching the problem. He found an article that dealt with this same issue and they had no solution either. I thanked him for his effort and asked if there was any place else in town that I might try and he did not hesitate to tell me about Comprenew and give me directions to their location. He also asked me for my email because he was going to do some more research into my problem and he would email me if he found anything. Needless to say, neither Best Buy nor Comprenew had anything to help me. Fortunately for me, Dylan email me as I was leaving Comprenew with a description of an adapter card that I could use as well as a link to it on Amazon so I could purchase it. I ordered it immediately and it arrived two days later and I was able to use it to retrieve my wife's paper and save the day for her. However, Dylan is the one that went way above and beyond to save the day for us and I can not thank him...

Gerrit was superb in replacing and additionally, expanding, my desktop hard drive capabilities. He was so patient with my low skill level and remotely cleared a virus out of my laptop. He actually created a remote relationship that made me look forward to meeting him in person for my IMac machine drop-off at the store's location.
Another 911 tech, Dylan, later stepped in when Gerrit was off and was equally kind and helpful. He even communicated back with Gerrit, who did an email follow-up to me, to assure my business equipment was all running up to speed.

I donât write reviews often unless I feel very strongly affected one way or another so I appreciated the prompt response. Kevin was understanding of my unhappiness and I could tell he cared about finding a better resolution and improving my overall experience. While I ended up getting my computer fixed elsewhere by an Apple tech who immediately recognized it was a simple issue with the hardware, I appreciate that I was contacted and issued a refund from Computer 911.
1/5 Apple users, go elsewhere! The keyboard and trackpad stopped working on my MacBook Pro rendering my laptop completely useless so I was referred here by the Apple online support. I brought my computer in, paid the $50 fee so he could run diagnostics and when he didnât find an issue with the software he said he would have to take a further look at it. I get an email the next day saying my computer was fixed and I had to pay another $50 to cover the cost of labor. That wouldnât be a problem except two days later, the same issue occurred and I come to find out that the only thing they had done was restart my computer and the everything apparently âfixed itself.â The computer tech did no actual work on my computer besides running a basic diagnostic program and I was charged $100 for them to just restart a laptop. If youâre an Apple user, save yourself time and money and just go to...
