Today I experienced Mahala Cafe Bar for the first time. I was meeting to catch up with a friend and was looking for a coffee house with comfortable seating with an atmosphere conducive to private conversation. We were happy to find that all of our needs were met.
Our (quite inexpensive) mocha lattes were carefully and expertly served and the espresso flavor was rich but not overly bitter. The physical accommodations were clean and arranged in a way that allowed its single room environment to still provide entertainment (pool/electronic darts/large screen sports) as well as private conversation.

We went on a Sunday and the futbol game was on, which was a nice change of pace. The server seemed upset we wanted to order beverages, not very warm of a interaction which was a bummer but not a deal breaker.
Out of the nearly 15 patrons, I was the only woman on the premises. Again not a big deal but something to be aware of if thatās a deal breaker. It seems almost like an unofficial club of sorts.
Iāll probably go back because of the comfy chairs, laid back atmosphere and futbol games. Will I be welcome?...
