Conder Park — Attraction in Killeen

Conder Park is a very peaceful place in a very awaken city. I go there to exercise, and while I'm there, I can watch people play basketball, play Frisbee football, watch a good partido de fútbol, skateboarders and their friends chilling, or just people chillaxin by the pond. Some of the ducks even stroll the neighborhood a little before returning to the still Waters of the pond. I just wish people would pick up their trash. With as much BBQs and get togethers that happen, they clean up better than the ones that come and leave trash by the pond from them fishing or feeding the ducks. That trash ends up in the beautiful small body of water, thus killing probably any fish that are there. Come on people let's do better and simply throw away trash in one of the many provided trash cans located conviently by the parking and throughout the park. Great job to the Killeen City Workers who take pride in Killeen's Parks and make them beautiful...

A nice park that didn't look like a park. It had a covered basketball court. A time capsule, yes, you read that correctly. It was calm and a great place to go for an afternoon cigar. I didn't notice a lot of play items for kids, like a swing set, jungle jim or slides. So, its more of a place to walk your dog, sit and chat with a friend or watch the world go by. The friend who took me said that, it was a perfect spot to turn into a legendary basketball court, ala Ruckers in New York, where the best guy's from the city run ball and people congregate to watch great basketball. I...

So this is actually One of the better parks in the area! In my opinion of course, But i actually realized recently this is the park my dad used to take me and my baby sister to when we were younger!! It’s quite amazing how the place seems to have remained the same…I absolutely love it here.. I’ve been coming here and chilling for a few hours before work.. Seeing the ducks and animal life at night is really something wondrous…I hope to bring my children here one day…There’s a crane running around so do be careful.. That crane serves: Kung Fu Panda Crane at all...
