(Original review below) I'm coming back here to follow up on this review because of the terrible service I got, yet again, at this place. I used to be a regular here. The kid that works the window has some serious customer service skills issues. Months after the below review, I decided to give this place another shot. To avoid the problem that occurred below, I made sure to specify the taquitos I wanted were to be CHICKEN. Sure enough, I get them and they're beef. I told the kid I asked for chicken, and the rude punk argued with me and essentially called me a liar. No "I'm sorry about that," or "We can fix that for you," but a rude, "No, that's not what you told me." This is the second time this happened, and this time, I made sure to specify so it wouldn't happen again, so him essentially calling me a liar because he wasn't paying attention really irritated me. There's a sweet lady who works there, who took care of the problem for me, but that kid needs to get tossed. He's a clown, and he's in the wrong industry.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Very disappointed in this place. I've ordered here a million times. They give no regular visitor appreciation. They messed up my taquitos order the other day. It's like 8 bucks. I've been there a million times and this is the first time there's been an issue. I called to ask to be credited for my next order and then told me they couldn't do that; that I had to drive back there, with the food, and they'd replace it then and there. After a whole day of work (I realized they messed up the order the following day, because I ordered several dishes), I didn't care to get into my car and drive all the way over there and back for a taquitos plate, offering to take a picture of the error and send it to them so they could see I wasn't lying. The guy on the phone was very uncaring. "So I have to come all the way out there again because you made a mistake?" His answer: "Yeah." Not cool. And what did they need me to bring the food back for? What exactly were they going to do with it? From now on, it's Taqueria Mexico Lindo for me, and only Taqueria Mexico Lindo. They're cool, and when they once made an error, they send someone over with the right stuff to make up for it. Their food is...
Read moreI am visiting my daughter for a few months and I wanted some Mexican food so my granddaughter and I visited this place.
We were greeted immediately and advised we could sit wherever we like. We were promptly approached by our server to bring chips and salsa and to take our drink and appetizer order. I ordered the fresh homemade guacamole and a mango margarita, and queso cheese dip for my granddaughter.
Picture of the guacamole is attached... It wasn't what I expected regarding taste and look. It was ok but it really had no taste and I didn't appreciate the texture. I only had a few bites and left it. The queso dip looked like clunky melted Velveeta cheese. Needless to say, my granddaughter had a few bites and left it as well. The mango margarita was very...Ummm, I don't know the words. I just can't describe it but I wouldn't have ordered a second. I ordered #33 Enchiladas de Camaro... I asked for no onions. Can you guess what it came with? 🤔. Yep! Onions.. 😔🤷🏾♀️. Everything else with the meal was satisfactory. My granddaughter enjoyed her meal and had no complaints. The service is great... The restaurant is clean and everyone was pleasant.
Based on this first experience, I probably won't go back. There were not enough good things about the visit to make me want to go back. Let it be known that I'm not knocking this place. It just wasn't for me and...
Read moreUpdated 4-7- 2019 - I used Waitr to have a breakfast burrito sent to my home (during a thunderstorms) the ingredients were not fresh. The bacon was dark and over cooked like it had been refried from a day or two. The potatoes were under cooked (still hard), and the eggs were watered down. I called and complained about it and was told that all the ingredients were cooked that morning and I could bring the food back. This was after paying $5.00 to have it delivered. I had to take a Lyft to the restaurant ($15.00 round trip) to return a $5.50 burrito and Orange juice. When I got there the guy that I dealt with kept saying the food was made that morning. When I told him I wanted a replacement order including the orange juice (which was watered down already - but even more after the ice melted) he argued about replacing the orange juice telling me how it was just fine as it was. It took 15 minutes for a replacement order. Mind you I had been ordering from this place numerous times before this BUT clearly my business is not important. I'm okay with that because had I not had this experience I would...
