I've shopped at this chain for years all over Texas, especially the Valley. This one in Killeen is not up to par. Not even close to acceptable. Very nice store, clean and really really bad customer service. When they first opened a year or two ago, I went in for things they advertised and they would be out. So I didn't go for a while but twice lately I've gone in on chicken wednesday. Two weeks ago(June, 2013) the butcher argued with me when I asked him to weigh a chicken. He finally gave in and weighed it. The experience yesterday, though, sealed it for me---I asked the same butcher as last time to get me a three lb chicken from the back. He refused to go to the walk in cooler and insisted the displayed chickens were fine. He then refused to weigh it as he said they were all the same weight. When I insisted he weigh it, he ASKED FOR A TIP! He said he was not going to "mess up" his display of chickens so that he could weigh one for me and "they are all the same." My boyfriend couldn't believe what he was hearing. To top it off, the manager was standing right there and did nothing. I'm thinking these folks really don't care if they have business or not. Oh, and prepare to stand in line as they seem to have people to stock shelves but not to wait...

The guy at the meat market was nice, and fast, but the girl at the register was attending a customer when I got in line..a military guy and she didn't even tell him thank you, or bye have a good day..she just grabbed his food bags and gave it to him. So when she started scanning my stuff she never said hello either, the only thing she said was my total $ the whole time. Then I quickly analyzed her, see at first I thought she was listening to music, but she was actually tlkng on the phone through her white headphones. I noticed because she turned around and talked she has the cord through her shirt. That is so rude of her not to acknowledge her customers, with is she even working there. I read the receipt, and it said her name was Marlene. I am a GM for the company I work at, and I hate to see bad customer service. Her phone call didn't seem important either. They need to hire people who are actually friendly...
Read moreIâm deeply disappointed by the customer service I experienced at the restaurant area inside Delicias Supermarket. What happened to me was not just unprofessionalâit felt personally disrespectful.
I asked a question about an item that is sold at the store. I understand they may not aware of all items, and I wouldâve been fine with a simple "no." But instead of giving me a respectful answer, the staff laughed in my face. It wasnât just one personâit felt like a joke to them. I was embarrassed and humiliated.
As someone from a different ethnic background, I was just trying to understand what was so funny. The way they reacted made me feel completely unwelcomeâas if I didnât belong there or wasnât worth their time.
Itâs one thing to say you canât fulfill a request. Itâs another to mock a customer for asking. I hope the management takes this seriously and trains the staff to treat every customer with dignity and respect, no matter where theyâre from or...
