I really don't believe "poor-fair" is a just option for this gamestop.
The general workers there are OK. It's the manager that's the problem. He feels entitled to his job. He may be effective on paper, but he generally has no clue about any and all video games. I own a Wii and a 360, my friend a PS3 and he has zero knowledge about any of the major gaming consoles besides what Gamestop tells him to say.
I went to purchase a collector's edition used game, and when I asked if it was right, he said, "well, I dunno. But you have 7 days to return it if it's wrong." The used games at this gamestop are a 50/50 shot at being any good. There's no quality control. The game I purchased, the first disk barely ran, and the second disk was beyond dirty. The best part: the first disk wasn't the "collector's edition" so it wouldn't recognize and download the second disk.
I'm tired of people, especially the managers believing they're all-mighty and entitled to their jobs.

Just this week Donkey Kong HD for the Nintendo Switch was released with a free DK Pen Holder Cup. Some employee here has sold at least 5 of them for $30+. Half the price of the game. No wonder Gamestop has such a bad name, no to mention never buy anything used or refurbished from them because they do not clean or refurbish anything. Watch youtube videos on it, this is what they are known for. Kinda like how they pass off opened and used games as Brand new. We all know how they do that. To those complaining in the reviews about customer service, they are just upset that the employees here donât bow down to them for every need. This is a business and the employees treat it as such. Just like anywhere else, you treat the staff with respect and they WILL take care of you.
