I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience in hopes it helps others. I had an appointment with Lisa and requested a simple clean-up: a trim around my ears and a neatened neckline. I clearly communicated—twice—that I’m growing out a pixie cut and did not want any length taken off the top.

Unfortunately, my instructions were not followed. The top of my hair was cut significantly, leaving it so short that I can’t style it in any way—it just falls flat no matter what I do. I’m truly disappointed with the outcome, especially as I was very clear about my goals.

The cut has left me feeling self-conscious and upset, and I was still charged for a service that did the opposite of what I requested. I urge others to take note of similar reviews and proceed with caution.

I have gouges cut behind and above my ears, and to top it off, it’s so crooked. My left side is significantly shorter than the right side.

Stay away from Lisa.

Update: Every time I look in the mirror, I feel more disgusted than the last. The top of my hair isn’t even an inch and a half long—what am I supposed to do with that? It’s unworkable. I told her three times—three—just cut the sides, make them wispy, clean up the neckline. That’s it. And she still butchered it. I’m honestly furious. The worst part? Every time I run into someone I know, the look on their face says it all—shock, horror, like they’re trying not to react but failing miserably. I have somewhere to be tonight, and I honestly thought about canceling because I’m so embarrassed to show my face. And what makes it even worse? I told Lisa—clearly—that I was getting highlights in a couple weeks. It’s not even long enough now to weave! She heard me. I know she did. I’m beyond pissed—I’m disgusted. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. She cut my hair better than I could have expected; making it look thicker, and hiding my thin spots. I didn’t realize it until I got home that the cut actually hides where it’s thinning! She also colored my hair, pretty darn close to my natural color which I’ve been trying to do for years. Also, I believe it was her brother who did my pedicure. He is a doctor and massaged my swelled legs, until they were back to normal, and cut out an ingrown toenail, which I have trouble repeatedly doing on my own. Then he actually polished to perfection, and gave me some tips on foot care. He also does full body massages out of this home for a fraction of what I have paid in the past. Thought we would give this place a try since they had great reviews. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience, Lisa (who has been there for a week) did a horrible job at cutting both of my daughter’s hair. Both of them wanted their hair cut straight across… which is not what either of them got. One she had to try fixing because it was so uneven (and is still uneven) and the other she refused to cut any shorter because she “doesn’t like messing with long hair” and was not cut straight across either. It took her lesson than 15 minutes to cut both of their hair combined if that tells you anything. Beware if you want to go somewhere and get what you want, this is not the place to go.
