Greeted right away. Clean restaurant. There are 7 tables that seat 4 each plus 7 chairs at the bar. They have a decent variety of foods: smash burgers, cheesesteaks, ham and cheese sub, Italian sub, veggie sub, cheese sticks, fries with different toppings and more. There are two televisions both with closed captioning which is so nice. You’d be surprised how many places don’t put the CC on their tv’s. Alternative and rock music was playing. Personally, I think the music volume should be a little lower during the daytime only because some older customers came inside and didn’t like the music. You can’t please everyone. But maybe just a little lower during daytime hours. They serve coke products (free refills) and have a decent variety of bottled and draft beer. Condiments and napkins are on the table which is nice because you don’t have to wait on service. We aye there at 1 pm so any lunch work crowd was gone. We had no problem getting service or the food. The food was served hot and it was good! The bacon chicken eggrolls are really big and filling. The fries with seasoning are quite tasty. Loved them. The Philly cheesesteak (the OG) was worth the trip. Big sandwich on super fresh bread. The cheesticks were just okay to me. Tasted a little frozen. Maybe no, but that’s how they tasted to me. They were still good though. We will be back.

Uptown Cheesesteak company opened in Kingsport, TN today. Originally a food truck business, they are now a brick and mortar. I ordered the OG Cheesesteak and an order of fire fries with a side of homemade ranch. It did take a bit to receive my order but it was also their first day. Gotta work out the kinks. The food was delicious and specially the ranch! My husband says I am a ranch snob and I base most of my opinions of restaurants by their ranch! My son lives in Philadelphia and when they come to visit us in Kingsport, we are making a trip here so that he can tell me how it compares. The only negative I have is their pager system for when your food is ready. The pager beeps incessantly until you take it to the counter. It wasn’t busy but there were several patrons, I’m sure if it were busier, those beeps would be quite annoying. I’d maybe suggest number flags or something to do away with the loud beepers. But I’ll definitely be back!

Really good cheesesteak. I got The Works with Provolone and substituted banana peppers for mushrooms; it was really good. The bread is soft, the meat was sliced thin and the whole mix was good. I’ve had cheesesteaks in Philly, and elsewhere, and no complaints on this one. We also got poutine, which I’ve had in Montreal and elsewhere. I’m not as big a fan of their fries. The fries are good but not great. With the poutine I am used to the cheese curds being soft and somewhat melted; these were hard and we did not have any that were soft until the end of our meal. The service was excellent and the time between ordering and getting our food wasn’t too bad. They do have a bar where you can order a beer but we stuck with ice water. We will come back but will, probably, just stick to cheesesteaks.

We'll start at 5 stars. I ordered the steak and mushroom, poutine and a Yuengling. Doh! They were out of Yuengling. I selected a Sam Adams Summer Brew as the substitute. Doh! It tapped out at half a glass. I was recommended a local Knoxville brew, the name I can't recall. It was too sweet for me. Minus one star. Not because I didn't like the beer but for the fiasco in ordering one. It was 4:30pm on a Friday night and they were running out of beer?!? They did give me the half glass of Sam Adams on the house at least. The poutine was quality but I'd recommend asking the fries be well done. The fries in mine were soft and it lacked texture. The gravy, the melted cheddar and soft fries were a mush pile in my mouth. Well done fries would have been the ticket though because the flavor was delicious. Minus half a star. The cheese steak was better than expected. 9" is a little small but the roll was filled nicely with a good mix of meat, mushrooms, onions and cheese. The roll was soft with a very mild flavor that let you taste the ingredients it held perfectly. I moved here from the Philadelphia area where everyone is a cheese steak expert, so I must be too, right? It wasn't like a Philly cheese steak. But it's the tastiest cheese steak I've had in the tri-cities since moving here 5 years ago. Add half a star. The dining room is small but cozy. There was partial waitress service for my visit. You order at a counter and if you're dining in they bring your beverage. But whether you're dining in or getting it to go, the meal comes all bagged to go. I found that odd for a dine in order but it didn't bother me personally. Don't apply for a dishwashing job here. They don't use them. With tip...

Got the chicken bacon ranch for lunch, my "sub" was nothing like what is pictured in the reviews here, it was super skimpy on all the toppings, meat, ranch (as i couldn't even taste it). The bacon was something you could get off the shelf and did not seem fresh at all. After spending over 21 dollars for the sub, fries and a drink i left still feeling hungry. 3.99 for greasy semi-warm fries is way too expensive, this was more like a 12 dollar meal at the most. Too many other options on this street for me to return. If you are looking for a good filling lunch deal this is NOT the place.

These prices are way too high for what quality you receive, for this price is expect there to be so much meat i cant even close the sub to eat it and it to be falling off in all directions. The only thing that fell off was the cheap bacon bits.

Did i mention i have to order it from the kiosk too and get my own drink? The services was nada, zero, zilch other than them delivering it to my table. 21+ dollars and i still gotta service myself too? Not that i care about doing those things but i expect the service to be reflected in the price, i feel...
