The Clay Gurus — Local services in Kingsport

I'm using my ceramics today and realized I should probably leave a review so other people know how awesome Kipp's class is!

My husband and I went and had an awesome time. My husband wasn't thrilled to be there at first, but legitimately had a great time (prob didn't hurt that he was more successful than me at it). It's definitely harder than it looks, but we eventually left with a mug apiece and some unconventional homemade ceramics 😉 I appreciated that Kipp was willing to fire and let us glaze our wonky practice pieces--they've actually become my favorites.

Wife and I attended Kipp’s Beginner Pottery Throwing class. He made the class informative, fun, and interesting. We embraced and celebrated mistakes. This took all the worry out of imperfections. He was always there if help was needed but encouraged everyone to get to know what clay can and can’t do and to experiment. Wow so much fun for the whole family. Even our 11 year old friend (who did the best) had a blast. Cheaper than hang at a restaurant, more engaging than food, movies, and a way to calm yourself and create in this crazy World of life. I would give them 10 star review.
