Wandered into this space with a friend. We are both women and going into spaces like this (card shops, comic shops, etc) is a crapshoot because you are often ignored or treated like a child and disrespected. Not the case with HBZ! My friend and I asked questions and they easily answered them and actually welcomed a conversation with us.
They also went above and beyond when I inquired about buying a Russian nesting-doll set of the 90's Chicago Bulls. It ended up they were already bought, so I asked how much they had charged so I didn't get ripped off when I searched for them online later. A guy came out from the back and showed me where to buy them online, and everyone working there were just really generous with their time.
Also, when they found out my first major crush was Michael Jordan, they gave me a card with MJ in action against Anfernee Hardaway! They said it wasn't worth any money, but the gesture was priceless to me. It is hanging up in my office...
