Warpath Bowling Lanes — Attraction in Kingsport

The staff at Warpath isn’t as friendly as Holiday Lanes in Johnson City. My 2 sons and I are looking to get back into league play again. So we have been experimenting with both bowling alleys Kingsport, and JC. I have to say that Holiday Lanes are much friendlier, and will even give you a break on prices when you go practice. I tool my youngest son to Warpath to buy him a new bowling ball at the pro shop. After purchase of ball my son and I stayed and bowled a few games trying his new ball out. These people behind the counter wouldn’t budge an inch on the price. Charges us almost $40 for a few games but the cost of shoes. A few days later we went back and the lady behind the counter was making a big deal because of free bowling coupons that we had downloaded on the free bowling App. These coupons are good at any bowling establishment in Our area. They had always accepted the 2 free games on the app before and wasn’t a problem until this time. She tried to accuse us of “bowling hoping” from one establishment to another with the free bowling. Come to find out, the free coupon app was a download from holiday lanes, in which Warpath always honored. Long story short, the guy that was working behind the counter finally told us to go ahead and bowl the 2 free games. As soon as we enters our names in the screen I looked back only to see the same woman that falsely accused us standing behind me requesting for my cell phone so she could get on my app again. This women just didn’t want to let things go. But anyway, it didn’t take us long to figure out why Warpath is always empty when we go there. My boys and I only live about 5 miles from Warpath, but from now on, we will be driving 25 minutes to Holiday Lanes for our sport of bowling.

Well Mr Dennis Lane you better get to know your staff better because we have always submitted the holiday lanes coupons to your lousy unfriendly staff In the past. The owner or manager was great..... We showed up late for a birthday party and he made it work. He was perfectly pleasant and seemed to be extremely attentive to anyone and damn near everything going on. The bathroom was extremely clean and the food was prepared well and surprisingly quick. Having to stand in line to order and then having to stand in another line to pay for it was somewhat off-putting. I took a star away because frankly of the outside.... The neighborhood isn't the best. I was approached by someone wanting money or cigarettes or whatever. I didn't allow him to ask I simply shouted "No"and he left. I wouldn't let my girls go to the car unaccompanied. The parking lot has several holes that could damage certain types of wheels. Also, the equipment, shoes and balls are somewhat dated. I get it, it is a huge investment for so much terribly EXPENSIVE equipment.... Having said that .. everything worked flawlessly and there were no issues. Slim pickings on balls with large enough finger holes but that is my experience everywhere. Last bit of comment... Another POS terminal at the food station would reduce workload tremendously. It's a great place to go if you're looking just to have fun and goof off. They have alcohol but they do not serve them in glass or cups , they serve them in condiment cups. Beer is in glass bottles. Served in a bucket over ice . I went there for my birthday and had a great time with all my friends. There were five of us. It was getting late and we decided to quit bowling. It was almost time to head home so we decided to hit up the small arcade. We all decided to take shots at the punching bag and I did not get my turn because one of my friends was too powerful and broke the machine toward the bag straight off and sheared the bolt. The manager had no idea what to do. We all thought it was kind of funny and cool. But it was a great night. I would definitely go back with them. On a side note, the bowling lanes were very slick. Really hard to get a good spit...
