This location was awesome and very close to where I live. But on 1/16/2020 I went there looking for a top to wear to my grandmother's funeral and I saw one on a manequin so I found 1 to try on that was in the store. It was entirely too big and I asked the cashier if it would be okay to take the one off the manequin to see if it fits. She called someone named Sarah over to see if she could take it off. She was hesitant about it and said it would be a few minutes because she would need to find an entire different outfit to replace it. I had already pick up the exact same top but it was larger and said she could use that one. She clearly had an attitude about the situation. So while I was patiently waiting for her to remove the top, she overheard a conversation on the phone I was having with a friend about it possibly being too small but I still wanted to try it on. Sarah then replied with if you think it will be too small then there is no need to take it off. I immediately took out my phone and scanned the barcode on the app to see if I could locate it anywhere else and it said they were all sold out. Then Sarah said Falls Pointe had them in stick for all sizes. I asked where it was located because when I checked the app it said that no stores or online had any left. She only said it was the closet store to us. I immediately left because I was also upset with her attitude and I checked where the store was. When I got there they said that they didn't have any in sroxk either. They lady at the other location was kind enough to walk around and help me locate one. Then I called back to the Knightdale location on 1/17/2020 to speak about my experience. I spoke with a manager on duty named Bianca who stated that since I didn't purchase anything from this location there was nothing that could be done about my experience and she would pass on my information for the store manager to call me back immediately. I have never received a call back. This was by far my worst experience and I think from now on I will travel to a different location to shop. The experience was horrible and all of the staff at...
Read moreThe customer service representatives are all lovely, and not at fault for what I'm about to say: Kohl's does not care about the customer experience. The return process in store is awful due to the fact that one entire counter is dedicated strictly to processing returns to Amazon. Customers returning items directly to Kohl's have to do so at the same counter used for purchases, resulting in 15 minute lines while the Amazon-only counter doesn't have a single customer. I understand that physical retail is declining and the option for Kohl's to increase revenue through servicing other merchants is a reasonable decision, but one that shouldn't be made unless Kohl's is able to continue servicing its own customers without a decline in quality. In short, corporate has the stores trying to do too much. This on top of the increasingly shoddy product quality means that my days as a customer are increasingly numbered. Heaven forbid you have to take...
Read moreHorrible customer service, I was here for an Amazon return. I received a business call before making it to the counter so I step out and walked away from counter to answer, I had to put my phone on speaker to check my email. There was no one but the worker there and she decided to interrupt my call and tell me in a disrespectful way to get my phone off speaker or leave the store! When I finished my call I came up to the counter and told her it was very disrespectful of her to do that while I was still on the phone.. ( mind you I was not near the counter while on the phone) I asked to make my return and she ignored me and walk to the back making me wait a couple minutes before...
