Let me start off by saying location was amazing! That’s the only positive here about this location! Beware of booking here! I booked a room at this location march 19th for my stay here April 5th. We traveled here to be at Dreamville Festival. When we arrived at the location (super late check in at 4:00 btw) they had told us and several other guests(all people of color) which I hate to have to mention but it was obvious…. That our rooms had been canceled and nothing was available. I noticed that as each guest begged and pleaded… they magically had rooms and we all had to pay extra. I paid $447 extra on top of the already $374 that I initially paid to stay here. And the only reason I did is because almost everywhere else was booked…. We didn’t have a choice.. we then waited another 2 hours for a room. Resulting in us missing a huge event we wanted to go to. Rooms were not cleaned good and we never received room service. Even after asking twice!!! We had to place towels down just to shower because the shower was suspicious looking af. Asked for soap and lotion multipleeeee times! Never happened… we had to just go and buy some. And front desk when asked for help was not friendly! The same trash we started with Friday is still here Monday morning as we prepare to leave! Hilton ruined our trip! Never booking here again and I advise anyone else not to! (Well if you look like me… they were “extremely “ nice to “others”.)

Let me start off and say that I have stayed at this hotel for over a month for work and each room has come with it's own fun. Usually I don't care because you get a variety of hotels and learn not to care but this one broke me. I have never seen a cockroach this big (2-3 inches) before and it was in the middle of the wall cleaning itself. I am so grossed out that I've stayed here over a month and this is the first time I'm seeing this cockroach is horrible. I can only imagine how big the infestation is that a coachroach can get that big. I just keep thinking about how many times I was sleeping in a room here and some cockroaches were crawling on me. When I brought it up to the front desk she (Bre) didn't really care, I showed her the pictures and videos I took of the cockroach(room 417) which she tried not to laugh at but I'd laugh too because it's not her fault and from the looks of everything at this hotel a cockroach like that is minor. My skin is crawling thinking about how many nights I was here sleeping and some cockroach was crawling on me. I scoured my replacement room from top to bottom making sure I didn't see another giant cockroach but I will not be staying here another night ever again, just imagining these cockroaches grosses me out on the breakfast and the cleanliness of the hotel in general. The pillows also feel like hand me down pillows you give to the dog after your done with them yourself.

Yes! You want to stay here! It's gorgeous and I usually don't like modern decor. Drapes, design, patterns/textures. :) I must comment about a remarkable and pleasant home feel. The king size bed/bedding were comfortable with a good-sized room which was very clean - the bedding smelled terrific/fresh! Sliding bathroom/closet door mirror feature - nice/quiet! Sliding counters for handy laptop/book access on nightstands and for bathroom towels/space. Baskets for cleaner clothing storage in hideaway unit for frig and bureau. Clean microwave and frig. Neat tuck away stools and multi-use counter space: desk, kitchen counter. LOTS of USB/AC/DC ports. You can find the light switches on the lamps, there is a soap dish and a nice tissue dispenser, quality toiletries/vanity supplies, there are MANY hand rails in the bathroom and shower, there are two shower wands with variable pressure dials, and there are nice smooth, wooden hangers in the closet you can easily remove/replace. These features may sound simple but I felt honored in that, with those little changes, my comfort was being considered and my character respected, trusted, and honored. The breakfast will not leave you wanting; there is a good assortment and the lady in charge is on the ball! There was at least one family reunion but the kitchen manager kept it rolling, informing us of turn-around times, and working hard to keep it fully stocked. In other words, we ate good! Yummm and Kudos to the Kitchen Manager. All of the staff were very pleasant, professional, and accommodating (Thank you, Shannon and Oliver!). The in-door pool was clean, towels supplied, and the area attractive. There is a "mood" control on the wall, if you don't want music while swimming. Decent workout area. You WILL want to stay longer,... plan on it if you can. If I wasn't traveling with another driver, I would have stayed another night just to treat myself! Definitely my Go-To place the next time I want to stay in Raleigh! All the local conveniences you might need, as well. Dark at night, quiet walls, hallways and street - a good sleep if you're not too excited. The price is reasonable and if you're a state employee, bring your ID. :) As teachers, we need a little $ boost. Thank you, Hampton Inn & Suites Knightdale. You got it...

This hotel is such a disappointment starting from the manager Jason Van Olst, front desk associate Logan and personnel Larkern and the list goes on. I had my wedding and reception planned their with a contract sat up since January 2022 and my wedding was scheduled for March 2022. The foolery started when I tried to check in the day before my wedding and all rooms was filled up. After all my fussing and going back to look at my contact they “found me a room”. Which was a lie because they went to clean a room that was not cleaned earlier by housekeeping. The majority of the staff was very rude! There were a couple of staff members that felt sorry for me and really tried to help me, but besides them EVERYONE else was very rude. Moving forward to the next day of my wedding… Jason(Manager) told me we the venue from 9am-11pm. My wedding start at 3pm and we went right into the reception directly afterwards. We were told by a older guy that by law all “amplified” music had to be cut off by 7pm, and he told me ( the bride) at 6:53pm. My reception was over! We paid for a DJ and the venue for the whole day( WASTED MONEY) embarrassing to the people who took the time and travelled miles … to come our wedding. My wedding day was a day to remember and not in a good way! … IT WAS RUINED! It kept getting better , upon my friends and daughter’s helping clean up the venue … another older lady from the front desk told my young daughter if we took the party upstairs we could be put out, ask to leave the premises and police would be called. My daughter told me what was said…I immediately went to address the front desk clerk. She thought it was amusing and said she felt the need to tell her that, which doesn’t make since because the Dj had left and she was taking my wedding items upstairs to our rooms. I want to share my story because I don’t want ANYONE ELSE to experience this awful hotel staff, the lies, being misled and the list goes on. I will never stay at this hotel again and DO NOT recommend having any BIG events here or staying at this hotel. The unprofessionalism from this staff and management is TOTALLY...

Worst customer service ever! My stay 2/3/18 was excellent, my horrible experience began a week after my stay when I realized the Hampton Inn charged my card, after I paid in cash! Once I notified them that they charged my card, they attempted to reverse the charges BUT ended up charging me 6 times $147=$882. So on top of being owed $147, now they taken $882 out of my account! To add insult to injury the General Manager Tara, wouldn't take my calls. She continued to send messages to me by Dee on the steps she was taking to resolve the issue UNACCEPTABLE! I called the corp office, who opened a complaint case but wouldn't take action until after 10 days. I explained that I've already given the GM 10 days with no resolution! I manage to get the name and number of the Region Manager, Linda Thornly at Crown Management. Her assistant took my information and promised that Ms. Thornly would look into it and call be back. NEVER RECEIVED A CALL! By this point 15 days later, they figured out how to reverse the charges. Why do it takes 15 days to have charged reversed is beyond ACCEPTABLE ESPECIALLY WHEN IS OVER $1,000 - AND I PAID IN CASH! I OWED HAMPTON INN $0.00!!! GM , Tara made all these promises of vouches for free stays, points for free nights and reversal of my OD fees.... Again NOTHING. I had to call the Regional Manager AGAIN. Got her assistant again who apologized for Linda not calling me back. Three days later, I received a check for my overdraft fees. To this day, I haven't received any the items promised for the inconveniences caused; I haven't received a call from Regional Manger or the Corp office; and the General Manager Tara sends me to her voice mail.
