I also love the food, especially the sushi. I visit 1-3 times every week for the last year or so, since I discovered this place. However, that will not be the case anymore. Last Thursday, I called ahead to order 3 California Rolls and a house salad. I call because so many times they do not have any when I walk in and this way I don't have to wait for them to fix it. When I arrived, and asked for my order, it was in one white takeout box in a bag instead of the clear individual boxes, so I asked the lady, are all three in there? and she said yes. I paid for three and a salad but when I got home, I only had two. So, no big deal, I would tell them next time I came by which was yesterday, Tues. Can you believe they would not make it good, only $3.29. I came in and was going to order two CR, but 1st told them what happened last week and they said I should have called when I realized it and/or came back (30 miles, I don't think so). It is not the money, but the principle of it, I was there to place another order of two CR, they could have given me one to replace the one I paid for and didn't get, but they would not budge. I said I am a very good customer, do you mean you are not going to make this good, and he said NO, that I should have called. (I didn't see a sign that says if the order is wrong you have to call in immediately) I work in Raleigh and live in Bailey and stop there on my way home. It is too far to make a special trip. I guess I should have looked before I left, but I specifically asked the person behind the counter "Are all 3 in that box? and...
Read moreTried this place for the first time because it seemed to be the more healthier choice of food in this shopping area. I ordered a side of vegetables and my daughter ordered chicken fried rice and a side of vegetables. The food was ready very quickly, but when we ordered their were no other customers there at the time. The prices are a little steep for the product. The veggies were not good to me and tasted a little like they were cooked in cough medicine or something. They penny pick you for sauce ($0.45 for additional). My daughter said her rice was good. The Russia (or whatever) young girl who seems to be running the place rubbed me the wrong way when she came over to the condiments stand to watch over us (the only black customers in the place) to see how many sauce cups weâd get (I didnât get any by the way). However, she didnât do they same to all the Caucasian customers that came in later (hmmm, whatâs that all about?). All in all, our first time will be our last time being a paying patron...
Read moreIt's usually hit or miss. Sometimes decent. Sometimes bland but not horrible. I was craving Hibachi so I went in and got a hibachi plate and was given "fried rice" with it. It's white rice with a few spots. When I called to complain, they said that it's supposed to be this way, but I've had their fried rice. This ain't it. Whoever cooked today really dropped the ball, and it's def the worst it's ever been. The rest of the plate barely touched the grill and tastes like I'm eating raw vegetables. There is no flavor at all. Let's pit it this way- if I didn't have yum yum sauce, I'd be wondering if I had covid. To top it all of, almost all of my steak is gristle. Fatty wouldn't be horrible, but it's inedible gristle. I was able to eat 2 pieces of steak. 2 bites... Definitely the last time I gamble...
