Sold us expired marshmallows, went to the store today and grabbed one the expired marshmallows bags showing them it’s expired, they put it pack on the shelf, who knows what else expired they are selling to customers. About halal meet, I stopped buying meat or chicken from them long time ago, the owner him self sold me lamp meet claiming it’s a young lamp, when I got home we found out that the meat from a very old lamp and no matter how long you cook it, stays hard non eatable, I throw it in the garbage, when I confronted him with that he start saying that all the meat he sells is the same. Bottom line they can’t be trusted. And the other Mediterranean marked on Clinton hwy is way way better. Update: end up marshmallows wasn’t the only expired item on the shelf’s, chocolate expired too, the attached picture from yesterday purchase. salamu alaykum this guy is taking advantage of being the only halal store , he knows that the muslin community is so disperate to find a hala place, that's why he's charging double and triple the price he just harged me $43.00 to cut a half a lamb in peices. The best Mediterranean supermarket around although all others are good too! The supermarket needs to label price everything since this helps the customer very much. Meat prices are a bit high, but I cannot believe one cannot find a halal meat outlet with reasonable prices around Knoxville. The nearest Restaurant Depot is either the one in Nashville or around Ashville NC.
