Ever since Michelle left the renting of the park fields has been nightmare. My family and I used to rent the field to host pick up games with our local church. The recent change in management means we can no longer do this. Field 1-4 have been locked up for over a year for "renovations" and no visible changes have taken place. The department has gotten downhill since around 2022. They changed the reservations time frame so regular families and people can’t rent them out. To make it worst they close the public softball fields on saturdays and Sunday’s at their convenience giving no notice and timeframe. Don’t even try to call them because they won’t answer, and when they do it’s “I don’t know let me ask” but they don’t actually ever call you back or email you back. I don’t know if this review will get noticed…Considering it’s very difficult to get a straight answer from this department. The baseball fields have been closed for over a year for “renovations” however it’s on my work commute and I have never seen anybody doing any kind of maintenance.
