After my grandmothers eye surgery she wanted to eat dairy queen so i ordered her food and after waiting what i feel was a bit longer than i should since it was not crowded i approached an employee named Jennifer and asked what my order status was, Jennifer was extremely rude and said "we just opened you will get your food when you get it". I was surprised by her attitude but didn't say anything further. While waiting I walked over to the counter to try & get a glimpse of what was going on back there & Jennifer moved a stack of cups in an intentional manner to prevent me from seeing my order being "handled". This upset me greatly, i immediately demanded my money be refunded, Jennifer while on the phone proceeded to appear to ignore me so i began cursing at her. She stalled refunding my money so that she could redirect her phone call to the sheriffs office & continued to stall in order to make sure I would be present when the officer arrived to deal with an issue caused by this hormonal psycho instead of fight real crime. I did not mind letting the officer know what happened at all, & i continued to demand my money in front of the officer. In the end, my 76 year old grandmother did not get to eat at the only DQ in town all because "Jennifer" obviously does not like her job & has absolutely no clue what customer service means. With the rising costs of EVERYTHING now a days, I think the customers are paying out enough of their hard earned money & should not have to deal with customer service lacking respect, human decency, and courtesy. I myself obviously will not return to DQ but i would rather spend my money where customer service is actually important. I will also rally my friends & family to avoid this place until Jennifer is fired. I'm willing to bet my complaint on this girl is not the first, & will not...
Read moreThey wasted 10-15 minutes going back and forth with an idiot in front of me in the drive thru. He got mad and threw his food on the floor at the window and when I pulled up after waiting for 30-45 minutes in the line I was treated like I was invisible. A black boy in a red shirt opened the door when I pulled up and stared at the floor for 30 seconds and when I started talking he closed the door on me and walked away in awe of spilled food. I told them what I ordered to a different boy and then a girl switched with him and I had to repeat it again. She kept worrying about the floor and rushed to get my stuff. She wasn’t bad, but she annoyed me because she was in such a hurry to get me going that she hit my door with the food while giving it to me. I used to work fast food as a kid and l like to give the benefit of the doubt, but I read a bunch of other reviews saying the service here is bad so I need to share my bad experience to confirm their claims. I doubt the guy that got mad before me is going to care after he left. I’m leaving a bad review because the workers were more worried about their first time seeing spilled food instead of serving me. The guy in front of me probably isn’t going to leave a review, but I am because they worried more about a guy that already left and gave me a bad experience for no reason. I’ll get over this, but I was upset driving home and am still cooling down while writing this at home. My other times here were lackluster, but I don’t expect good service at fast food. Today upset me enough to leave...

I ordered a banana split and while the taste was fine, the ice cream was already halfway melted by the time I got it. The biggest issue though was the service. We went through the drive-thru and it took nearly 30 minutes just to get to the window.
At one point, I actually got out of the car to see what was going on inside. What I saw was the employees working for a bit, then stopping to chat, then working again, then stopping again. Even the manager was right there in the middle of it, laughing and talking with them. I’m all for enjoying your job, but not when there’s a long line of customers waiting.
Another thing that bothered me was when the girl at the window held onto my card even after I got the notification on my phone that the charge had gone through. She shut the window and just kept it for a while before handing it back, which felt very strange. I’m not accusing anyone of anything, but it was weird enough that I made a note of it in case something goes wrong with my card later.
This service has been a problem every time I’ve come to this location, and I won’t be returning. Sadly, it’s the only DQ in Kyle, but it’s not worth the frustration or the uneasy feeling. I’ll gladly take my...
