Downgraded rating because of the increased unnecessary over-management and lack of infrastructure for tenants and customers. With the addition of target, the enforced parking time was set to 2 hours (not enough time for a meal and shopping) and then later moved to 3 hours (still barely enough). Employee parking consists of a minor section of Target's lot, so staff from tenants are often forced to compete for parking with the customers. There's no clear directory of tenants, and city hall is set to move into the office space, ostensibly only furthering these issues. Besides this, there's a decent selection of food and shopping here, but no entertainment...
Read moreI patronized two stores within this plaza: Gelsons and TJ Maxx.I was disappointed with Gelsons, in that it being a higher end market, the deli section left a lot to be desired. I entered the market at approximately 3:30 pm on a weekday. I found that the hot foods/deli section displayed quite a few dishes that were dried out and not at all appetizing.
The TJ Maxx had 3 shopping levels and was organized. There was also plenty of staff on hand to handle the holiday foot traffic.

Read moreI live in Atwater Village but we occasionally come to this shopping center after the Saturday farmers market up the street. Boo likes the TJ Maxx because it has a "from the runway" section and we sometimes go to the Gelsons here. It's a nice outdoor shopping center. Parking isn't that easy but you will find a spot with a little patience.
