The place is quirky in the best way. Parking’s easy (corner of Beach and Imperial), prices are solid, and if you’re into rare snacks, drinks, or collectibles, this place punches way above its weight. I’d been here a while back when they sold cigars and had a humidor, but things have definitely changed. Either new ownership or a total revamp. Now it’s more like an Asian mini-mart mixed with a smoke shop and pop culture store. Think Korean/Japanese drinks, snacks, exotic sodas, THC/CBD pipes and glassware, and a solid stash of collectibles. We were hunting for Labubu dolls (a.k.a. La Booboo — spell it how you want), thanks to my wife’s sister who told us our nieces were obsessed. Turns out this place is stocked with the real-deal POP MART ones, not knockoffs. The girls working there were super nice and knew everything about the toys. Honestly, they looked like they could’ve been part of an anime. It made the whole visit a little extra fun. Prices were accurate. I looked them up later, and they matched or beat eBay. Plus, they gave us some free international candy and a mystery Pepsi that tasted like blue citrus soda from another dimension. I haven’t seen it anywhere else, and now I kind of need to go back just for that. All in all, Sunny Hills Exotics is a fun little local gem. It’s weird, friendly, and full of surprises. Whether you’re into niche drinks, collectible plushies, or just want to browse something offbeat, this place is worth a stop. And yeah, I’ll be back, probably for more Labubu…and definitely that funky...

I'd like to give this place the benefit of the doubt that maybe with the surge of popularity from IG and TikTok, they may have been wiped out of a lot of inventory. The shelves had hardly anything, and the pricing on the drinks was much higher than anticipated. We went there after seeing a video online, and it looked nothing like that in person. Nobody working there even acknowledged our presence, which was a little disappointing, considering the raving reviews about how nice everyone there is. Again, I'm hoping that stock was just low because of their newfound popularity- but I won't be driving 30 minutes out of the way to find out again.
