Not much parking but very modern, peaceful urban park. Tucked behind Sharp Grossmont Hospital and a memory care residential building, it could easily be missed. With the recent storms, the plants are a bit battered but will hopefully come back full force once we get back into our usual hot climate. Lots of shady places here though and places to sit with some interactive areas for mostly kids but adults will enjoy looking at least once. Also, popular rock hiding spot so bring some of your own or enjoy the hunt. I usually like to relocate one to a different park to give it some mileage. I’ll add photos in just a bit; technical issues but didn’t want to wait to do a write up. Edit: Photos added which gave me a couple more what I would like to say are insights but opinions; park needs to be on a more regular maintenance schedule. It doesn’t need much but everything just looked like it had a coat of dirt over it. Yes, it’s a natural park, etc. but that doesn’t mean a good power wash and trim...

This is such a nice park. My husband and I take our two huskies here to play at night and they absolutely love it because they can run around and be crazy without us having to worry about other people and dogs or being too close to the road. It's very clean and well kept. We usually walk down the road to the grossmont mall too, just to change it up a little bit and make sure we all get the exercise we need. We never see any homeless camps or anything like that, either. Also, it seems like most of the people who bring their dogs to this park do a pretty good job of picking up after their pup. Nobody likes stepping in doggy doo! Lots of little areas to walk your dog around too. We're definitely going to continue coming here...

The park is clean and well maintained, and offers a unique musical experience to children and adults of all ages. There are not a lot of typical playground activities, but there is a swing for both babies and children. In addition, you'll find a large synthetic boulder for simple climbing, and walking paths to enjoy among the landscaping. Also, there is a bathroom with plumbing for...

Sad that there's no play structure, but there's so much enrichment for the kids and adults alike that it's not a huge deal. There's a rock big enough for the kids to climb (about 8 ft tall) The musical instruments were my personal favorite, tons of sprawling green grass and a sand pit and swing set. My kids built a little village in the sand pit.

Kinda underwhelming for kids. Great if j are just walking ur dog or on a light stroll. Its pretty tiny. The playground wasn't that great. My 3 year old actually said, "where's the slide?" They have a cute are where the kids can make music tho. And also I think there's supposed to be a stream? But there was no water and all the trees were cut down
