The park was part of the LA MESA PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND IT LOOKS FANTASTIC! All new tables, equipment, fencing, parking lot... etc. Great job to those involved in making the improvements. You did an amazing job! I love the horseshoe pit (bring your own shoes of course) New/ clean built in BBQ grills. Park maintenance keeps the bathrooms spotless. Great place for a kids party, family gathering or just alone relaxing under a tree. I feel very relaxed here. Great trees to climb. My kids love climbing, although I don't know if that's allowed. As they're not distructive , I let my kids be kids. The only thing I strongly feel is NEEDED there are SPEEDBUMPS. Cars fly by as if on a highway and without concern for children at play. SHAME ON YOU WRECKLESS, INCONSIDERATE DRIVERS! This, in my opinion, is going to result in the death of an innocent child one day. So people slow down! Even fools know that * kids run after their balls and pay no mind to the fact you're in a hurry and can't slow down to 55mph (sarcasm)? Seriously tho slow down!)

When I saw this park had a garbage truck, I knew we had to bring our son here! However, that wasn’t even the part that I found most impressive. This park is funded by EDCO and has a whole recycling theme which I think is on point! I love that they placed fun fact boards around the playground which teach you about nature and how it helps the environment. The treehouse play structure was really cute and has climbing tunnels and multiple slides. My least favorite part about this park was the bathrooms. They hardly offered any privacy and seemed very dirty. 📍3955 King St, La Mesa, CA 91941 🚙Free parking in lot next to the street 💰This park is free 🎠The play structure has a rubber ground surface and shaded canopies overhead. There is one tandem bucket swing. 🚽Restrooms 🧺Multiple picnic tables 🪑Park benches at playground 🖼Lawn 🌳Only a few shady trees 🛣Close to a neighborhood road 🚲Paved path perfect for small bikes, scooters, roller blades ⚾️Baseball fields 🐎Horseshoe courts

Vista La Mesa Park is a fun little park with so many unique play equipment. The park is located in La Mesa and features a ball field, shaded playground, exercise equipment, horseshoe pits, and a large grassy field. There is a large playground with a cute one for toddlers and the other for the bigger kids. The playground features a huge slide, climbing equipment, slides, a walking path, interactive play equipment and a EDCO play structure! Funded by EDCO, the park encourages recycling by focusing on a nature themed playground. Parking lot area and street parking available Hours: 6am-10 pm Bathrooms available (not the cleanest) Little league field Horseshoe Pits Grass Fields Fitness Equipment Benches and a gazebo available

As a member of my community here at Rolando Park for the last 7 years, I can attest to the major contribution to the community's unity this park has brought. It has been newly renovated and cleaned up, allowing more families to come have picnics and bring children to play. I can finally bring my kids to come play with other kids. In the past there were seldom any other kids to play with. But now, the playground is huge and features many fun and challenging jungle jims, attracting kids from all over the neighborhood. It definitely brings the neighborhood together in one beautiful park. I've met neighbors I wouldn't have otherwise met and have made friends in the same community that share similar interests and concerns as I do. The park is very clean, restrooms consistently stocked and cleaned, and offers a wide variety of areas for different activities. The park offers grass, sandbox, horseshoes, picnic tables, softball field, swings, monkey bars, and slides. I recommend this park to families and friends as a great place for kids and even pets. It is also a great place for parents who are separated and sharing custody to meet up because it is always a friendly, neutral, safe, and populated place. Definitely a great meet up spot for...
