I used to LOVE coming here before AMC took over. Sure, the theater needed a remodel & the concessions were overpriced (like every other theater on the planet) but I loved the fact that the staff is very friendly & the parking easy. Being disabled & not working, I liked to come here during the day while everyone else was at work. I have severe mobility issues & it's hard to walk long distances. The layout of this place was ideal for somebody like me. For $12-$15, I could get a ticket + a large soda & popcorn. Didn't have to walk a mile to get into the theater, which is important when you have limited mobility. The place was a little run down, but almost never crowded, the ease of access made it easy to overlook the cosmetic appearance of the theater . Now, if I want to go to a low cost theater, my only local choice is Norwalk 8 at the Norwalk Square which is perpetually overrun with everyone and their 8 kids. No thanks. This has turned into just one more great little community secret that isn't around anymore. Too bad! Guess I'll be staying home from now on. Thanks for...
Read moreI've been coming here for years and have always been a fan of this place.
Lately though, we haven't given this theater as much attention as we'd like (8 month hiatus or so) due to wanting to watch the big movies on opening weekend for $5 etc.
But we realized we missed so many other movies and by the time we remember them, it's arrived at the dollar theater. So we came to watch Oblivion yesterday!
Woot $2 per head!
What impressed us the most was the upgrade in seat material. It's still the same non-stadium seating but they've upgraded the upholstery from crappy fabric material that gets easily stained and ripped to a faux leather type that was squishier to sit on.
Huge improvement.
There are some spots on the screen that you'll notice on "bright moments" that needs to be wiped down but eh $2 on a big screen!
And $1 hotdog!
There may be some people unfamiliar with the "smell" of the place, but seriously you can't beat this deal.
There's a CVS down the way to grab candies/snacks too! I'd avoid the rest of the restaurants in the...

None of this Ohhhh I miss what it used to be or Ughhh it’s expensive now Pffttt I could just imagine how your future is going to turn out to be when you decide to buy a house or live in an apartment. Quit being negative if you don’t like it Don’t come here but don’t insult another business just because your Idiotic mind couldnt decide to just rent a movie at red Box and stay home. And make some food there then spending and having a negative Mind while doing it. What do you expect this is california there is Money to be made. Go to Texas if you feel things are to...
