In my opinion, having showers available is super important , especially after spending time in the water, as they provide a convenient and hygienic way to rinse off saltwater or sand. Not having aqthese facilities might be inconvenient and could have affected the overall experience for some visitors, leading to the slight downgrade in the rating.
Overall, while Sylvan Beach still seems like a great destination, the lack of shower facilities could be an area for improvement to consider...
