Countrywood Park — Attraction in La Puente

Been coming to this park for over 20 years. Great neighborhood park. Limited picnic tables, a playground, and restrooms. Also has a large field to play catch or kick a soccer ball around. Had my daughter's first birthday party there. We had planned to go to another park down the street but someone beat us to it. The grass at this park is infected with four or five different types of grass and weeds not very well taken care of and while I was there LA County Sheriff drove up on the grass went all the way to the back turned around and stopped and proceeded to watch me and I left and when I was making my left turn onto a street called Hacienda Boulevard guess who was behind me yeah they LA...

I grew up going to this park and although it's changed so much I still love it. It has a large field to play sports on or to walk your dog. The playground is clean and the place is pretty well maintained. I remember burning my bum riding down the metal slides as a kid which they have remodeled to a plastic play structure now.
