Tho One Thai Eatery — Restaurant in La Verne

So I ordered my first to go from this place and I thought it was pretty good Thai food! The usual place that we went to seemed to not be as good anymore and would always take over 30 min for the order to be ready. When I ordered on the phone it was quite easy, but I was asked to give my credit card on the phone (which I don’t really want to do) . The man I spoke to was real nice and explained that unfortunately there were people that had called for food but did not come to pick it up. I totally understand, and did not fault him at all. I will probably see if there may be an online option next time.

I ordered a few of the usuals that we get, the pad thai (which we really enjoyed) the pad see yew and the papaya salad. The papaya salad. Note that the papaya salad is quite different than other places and that it has peanuts inside. They have lots of vegan options and a huge menu. I tried to get all of it in pictures so hope that it helps. Will definitely be back to try some other dishes.

One thing to note was that the person that took my order gave me some of this hot chili oil, it was so good! Really spicy but it had this smoky taste which was so good on the food. Look forward to my next trip back!...

Disappointed with their service. They wasted 50 minutes of my time. I called the food ahead for a reason, because I have a baby. They told me food would be ready in 20 minutes. I show up, it’s been 30 minutes and they said it would be another 10 minutes but of course it was more than 10 minutes more.. I asked why and they said that they got a big order right as I was ordering mine. If that were the case, they should’ve called to give me with new eta. While I was waiting for my food, a couple arrived and they sat down and they even got their food before the food that I had ordered over the phone. I then ordered a boba while I was waiting and that took long too and if I were them I would have offered it free for the inconvenience. We went to lunch for a friend's birthday and it was a fantastic experience. Everyone was super friendly and the owner asked us why we were having lunch. We told her that it was for a friend's birthday and she immediately brought out a small gift for our friend. She also told us that if we make a reservation for a birthday, the person would get a cake.

In addition the fantastic service, the food was excellent. I had the Tom Kha soup and it was the best I have had. It had the perfect amount of spice and flavors. I also have the Panang Curry which was great too. My lunch companions had the Chicken Hot Plate and the other had the Yellow Curry. They both were very happy wih their orders as well.
