This Regal location is okay. Most of our issues were with the concession stand. First of all, there was only one person ringing people up at the concession stand when it was a Friday afternoon. There weren’t many people in line, but it still took quite a while. I believe the manager eventually came to help out, but they messed up our order! My boyfriend had asked for a Pepsi Freeze, but the manager gave us blue raspberry. At that point we were already running late for our movie so we didn’t have time to ask them to switch it out. Our last issue was with the butter dispenser because both were out. Again, this likely wouldn’t have been an issue if there were more people working at the concession stand. I’ve replaced butter dispensers before when I used to work at a theater, so I know how fast it is to do that. Considering that popcorn is the most popular snack for movie-goers, it was a bit disappointing to see that both of the dispensers were completely out of butter.
As for the cleanliness of the theater, we didn’t notice any issues. I didn’t notice any food on the floor both in the lobby and in the actual theater house, and our recliners seemed to be working just fine. I will say though that they need better signage out front because there are several doors but only one is the entrance. It’s not a big deal, but we were a little confused when we arrived because there was no clear signage indicating where the actual entrance was.
In summary, this specific Regal location is alright. Our biggest issue was with the concession stand. I’m not trying to fault the employees, but the managers really need to staff more people or at least be quicker to provide coverage when a line...

Read moreWish I could give 0 stars. Black and brown students and administrators from Scripps College attended a showing of Get Out!, paying over 250 to this establishment, and were met with virulent racism and literal policing. While they were watching the movie, audience members called security on them for being "disruptive" even though they were as loud as the non-black patrons. The security officer who was summoned stood with his GUN FACING A STUDENT FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE FILM, and told students and admin that they were not allowed to talk in the theater. After the movie, Jessica Smith, an employee of the theater, told students that they had to leave the building because they were "disruptive" and had the students and admin ESCORTED OUT BY SECURITY OFFICERS. When admin attempted to mediate, Smith also threatened that she would call the police. POLICING IS OFTEN FATAL for people of color: Smith's threats to call the police made the students feel even more unsafe and violated. DO NOT ATTEND THIS THEATER: IT PERPETUATES RACISM AGAINST AND POLICES BLACK AND...
