After looking for a new bed for our guest room at six different local stores we chose to return to Denver Mattress to make our purchase. One of the key reasons we chose to return there was the sales associate that helped us. We worked with Alex and he was very knowledgeable about the bedding products offered, but was also a no pressure sales person that allowed us to look at the product on our own without constantly pressuring us to buy something. The experience at the other five places was drastically different, and ranged from associates that knew absolutely nothing about beds and basically pointed us to where the mattresses were in the store to people that knew nothing about beds but would not stop hovering over you pressuring you to make a decision that second and attempting to convince you not to leave without buying the bed. Another key reason for our decision to purchase from Denver Mattress was the product itself. There was at least one mattress at each store that we found acceptably comfortable, and the price point at each store was within a couple hundred dollars of one another, but the Denver Mattress stood out as the most comfortable mattress of any of the stores we looked at. It became a very easy decision for us at that point. Alex at Denver Mattress was far and above the most knowledgeable and friendly person of anyone we dealt with, and the mattress they had was our favorite, so we returned there to make our purchase. If you are looking for a new mattress I highly recommend you check out Denver Mattress and ask for Alex. Alex understands the correct mattress for each person and situation is different and will help direct you to the options Denver Mattress has that will come closest to meeting what you are looking for without hovering over you constantly making a high pressure sales pitch. As mattresses are an extremely personal choice I cannot guarantee Denver Mattress will have a mattress to meet your needs, but I am confident Alex will get you to the product they have that best aligns to what you are looking for, be able to knowledgeably answer your questions, and will then allow you to decide whether the product they have is right...
Read moreSUMMARY: DON'T TRUST DENVER MATTRESS TO DELIVER YOUR FURNITURE.
My wife an I recently purchased a brand new mattress, frame, and box spring from Denver mattress. The salesman was very friendly and we were happy to purchase. However, the problems came later.
5 weeks later, we received notice that our mattress was ready for delivery and it would be delivered between 1p and 3p on a Wednesday and that someone would have to be home to sign for the delivery. We were also told that the driver would place our items right inside our doorway. At approximately 12p that day, I received a text from the delivery driver asking when someone would be home. I answered that we would be home at 1p. I then found out that he had already dropped the items off, outside my door, and that the driver had a random neighbor sign for the items.
So, not only was the delivery, 1 hr. early, now nearly $1500 dollars worth of merchandise is sitting outside my house and a complete stranger has signed off on all of it.
At this point, I called the Lafayette store manager. After explaining the situation he asked, "What do you want me to do about it?"
I told him that the items need to be dropped inside the house and signed for by someone I trust. He told me that he'd call me back after speaking with the driver.
When he called me back 10 mins later, I was notified that the stranger who signed for my items was a former employee of the company and that he would move my items in at 1p when I got home. What??? The delivery driver won't put my stuff inside correctly and now a complete stranger who is no longer affiliated with Denver Mattress is coming into my home? Yeah....I don't think so....I'll move everything myself....thanks...
To summarize, Don't trust them to properly deliver...
Read moreMy husband I were in the store a couple of days before we decided on a mattress. As we walked in we thought, I do not want to be bothered by a pushy salesperson asking me if I need help then lingering around and pressuring us for a sale. When we walked in, we were greeted by Bradley. He asked us if we needed anything to which we said no. I appreciate that he left us alone and checked in once more after about 30 minutes of us rolling around on different beds. After he checked in we browsed a little more and again, he was NOT pushy in any way. So we left the store and talked about what mattress we had decided on. I went into the store a couple of days later and Bradley was who I spoke with to actually purchase the mattress. Again, I HATE being pushed into buying things and getting talked into little “add-ons “ during the checkout process. As I was signing papers Bradley was very up front and asked if I had purchased sheets. I said I had so I didn’t need anything additional. He was very friendly and said that if I decided I didn’t want the ones I bought, I’m more than welcome to come back in to see what they had in the store. After that, he explained the warranty and I was on my way. I would like to say that I came back to the store because of the fact that I was not pushed into anything and annoyed through the process....
