Just keep in mind that the world 🌎 is filled with all kinds of people. I just had a man tap on my car window in parking lot asking for cash for food. I offered chips and bread I had with me,but he wasn't interested. This is my 2nd encounter like this, in this area today. I've done many hours of training and volunteer work with the displaced/homeless/rehabilitating community. The first thing they teach is to not give cash to those seemingly living on the street. Read moreI wish there was a way to express my heartfelt thankfulness and appreciation for Sister Carmen. Not only did they give me a voucher to get new glasses which I desperately needed and could not afford, they also helped me with some household items since I had to move unexpectedly and didn’t have a need it to run my household. Not only are they kind and considerate, at the thrift store, at the food bank and in the office… God bless them all and the wonderful work they do for the community. The staff are friendly and witty. The volunteers who stock the store are awesome. Just don't try to shop out of their carts. It is against store policy.
They have clothing (none worn, torn, or dirty). They routinely get return items from Costco and other local stores. Other donated items include furniture, kitchenware, outdoor gear, and garden supplies.
Flatirons Church members really support this store through their donated items.
