I don’t eat out often because I’m usually disappointed, and then I get frustrated for not being satisfied. What can I say? I love to eat. We cook at home every day, but sometimes it’s nice to take a break and enjoy a meal made by someone else. That’s where Saigon Bowl District One comes in—delicious! While taking a walk through my neighborhood, I could smell the grilled meats wafting through the air. My mouth instantly started to water. Today, while I was out running errands, I decided to treat myself to a takeout order of Bun Dac Biet. First off, the presentation was beautiful. The dish was a generous portion—enough to last me 2-3 meals, but let’s be honest, my kids will probably devour it once they see it in the fridge. Actually, scratch that—just as I was writing my review, my husband, kids, and our son’s friend came home and all shared the dish, talking about how good it was. So, safe to say, I’ll be back for more! Bun Dac Biet is a classic Vietnamese dish, made of vermicelli noodles topped with a variety of meats, egg rolls, and fresh vegetables. The name translates to "special vermicelli noodles," or "noodle combination." It’s light yet filling, offering a wonderful balance of flavors and textures. Every bite was a satisfying experience. Highly recommend!

I'm new to Colorado and I figured I would go out and try a bit more of the food scene. Vietnamese sounded good. I found this place with a 4.8 and decided it was the one. I don't leave many reviews, but I felt I needed to leave one for this. The food was fine, but as a chef I find somethings to be unacceptable. I was literally the only guest in during my entire meal. I was asked to choose my own seat so I decided I would sit by the window so that I would have a bit of a view. I saw a couple flies which didn't bother me much at first. Once the server brought out my food it was as if those couple flies brought all their little buddies to have lunch with me. I kid you not, there were over 20 flies on me, my plates, the table and window. I called the server over and asked if I could move. He assisted me in moving my things over which is when I noticed all the stuff under his nails. That is a big no no. He then proceeded to grab a fly swatter and kill as many flies as possible while yelling you want to die every time. Did not go back to wipe off all of those tables. This place might have good food, but I will never return to dine in.

Absolutely fantastic! Honestly blew us away. We ordered the grilled shrimp fresh spring rolls and the soft-shell crab with garlic butter and vegetables. The shrimp were perfectly cooked with a great charred flavor. They were wrapped so well I could have walked around town all day with it half-eaten, and it would still stay together. The soft-shell crab—wow, just wow. Three huge crabs, perfectly fried, light and crispy, and covered in a ton of sautéed garlic and butter, with onion rings over the top. The plate was loaded with fresh romaine for making lettuce wraps, fresh cucumber, pickles, basil, cilantro, mint, and fresh onion. It transported me to another place. Prices can seem high, but the portions are family-sized. I can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!

Given the fact that there are so few “decent” much less outstanding Asian restaurants of any ethnicity within many many miles of the front range… (Literally one has to travel to the far reaches of Aurora and suss out little one offs in strip malls dotted around the Denver metropolitan area to find anything with legitimate is a sad reality. Well,.. lace up unknowing boulderites ,… This bitchin little Vietnamese restaurant, truly of world class caliber Instantaneously becomes not only a top Contender for best Vietnamese restaurant within 100 miles of here, but based on how they execute in general … this little Lafayette secret is in my opinion now also one of the top destinations for food and eating anywhere in this area as well regardless of the cuisine….. I am elated to be an outspoken advocate and know that few days will Pass without craving something from this ginormous menu .. listen when I say,.. plan to go 40x just to get through the menu or maybe better yet,.. gather up all your peeps that have been subjected to horrific vanilla gringo-ized garbage Asian for years,.. pile into a big van and head on over to SD1 for the real deal ! Lastly,.. The chef proclaimed that she is baking the bread herself everyday so a top of the dinner options. I would also recommend heading over there late morning to grab a fresh Bahn Mi sandwich loaded up with whatever protein you can possibly imagine Jacked full of multiple different aromatic herbs on crunchy fresh bread … I just can’t say enough about this amazing place thank God these people have opened in this part of the country. We are all so fortunate- the ONLY critique ?….. turn the lights down in the dining room … it’s insanely bright and don’t floor mop around tables while guests are in the dining room … fabuloso is invasive to the olfactory senses and reminds me of being stuck in a Guatemalan bus station which clearly this...
