One of the guys working on the line pulled his mask down to take a drink of a soda and then pulled his mask back up and continued working without changing gloves. Absolutely disgusting and this alone earns a one-star rating, before I even mention anything else.
Our order was supposed to be ready at 8:10, I showed up at 8:20 and was told that my food was being started and it would be 15 more minutes. My order was not ready until 8:50, 80 minutes after I ordered it and 30 minutes after I was told it would be 15 more minutes.
The chicken tempura roll which I ordered due to a shellfish allergy has crab meat in it, which is not disclosed on the menu. My wife's sushi was acceptable but not amazing, fortunately not fishy and lacking freshness like some other reviews have mentioned.
The rolls are definitely on the small side and feel overpriced, as some other reviewers have also mentioned. We might give this place one more try after we check out all the other options in town, but I'm certainly not planning on making this the new...
Read moreOur 2nd time here, glad to see it busy on a Friday evening. Servers were very friendly and menu definitely looks expanded from the first time we came (which was over 4 yrs ago). Chicken teriyaki was generous in portion but nothing special, steamed broccoli and carrots over white rice with chicken and drizzled with sauce. Would be better if veggies were grilled or roasted as dish was rather bland and not very interesting. Sushi seemed fresh, really enjoyed the rolls but the Nigeria rice was too much of a hard little ball of rice with no flavor of Sushi vinegar, no Wasabi and just like a squeezed ball of hard rice that actually detracted from the raw fish. Also my favorite roll is Salmon Skin Roll and theirs was simply salmon skin with sauce and rice and nothing else. The other Sushi places typically have at least some cucumber and Masago or some other ingredients to make it more interesting. So overall, it was an ok experience, would come back to try more rolls but probably...

The 15 pc sashimi comes with escolar by default. Who in their right mind would eat escolar? It’s banned in much of Europe and Japan (Do some research).
I ordered the 15 pc sashimi with no escolar. The yellowtail sashimi was decent. The salmon sashimi was decent. The tuna sashimi was tough, chewy and not fresh. Not good. I left one piece on the plate and I never do that. Avoid the tuna. It’s the cheap stuff and not fresh.
The magic roll was lackluster and loosely assembled for $16. No value there at all.
We received an extra mystery order of unagi, but didn’t get the extra yellowtail sashimi that we ordered. No biggie, they were nice about it.
The service was friendly, but not speedy even though the restaurant was nearly empty.
Prices were average for the portions but the fish quality just is not what it needs to be. There are better sushi places nearby. We probably...
